Story
Nic wants nothing more than to move on—from her sister’s disappearance and the state it’s left her in. But then one day, Jules’s sister, Jenna Connor, walks into her life and offers Nic something she hasn’t felt in a long time: hope. What follows is a gripping tale of two sisters who will do anything to find their missing halves, even if it means destroying everything they’ve ever known.

Love the survivor stories. I love how the girls argue back and forth only like siblings can do. So fun to listen too.

Story
Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating from the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry. Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth....

Hard to listen to
Reviewed: 08-26-22
I listened to the first 2 books so I ordered this one without the preview. The female narrator was very hard to listen to. When she used her normal voice it was ok but when she talked as another character to was bad. The story was good and the male role was fine. But every time the chapter started with her I cringed. Took me longer then normal to finish because I had to take breaks from the voice. You could also hear her swallowing through out the book. I can’t say this enough. Stop changing the narrators half way through a series. You get used to a voice and if it changes to a voice you don’t enjoy it ruins the entire series.

Story
My name is Venus. I'm a 200-year old killing machine and I'm trading in my daggers and sword for a sparkly dress and an obscene swimsuit. Tiny strips of Lycra are not my typical battle wear, but when in Oklahoma... Armed with a fairly decent attitude, two debatably heterosexual insane old ladies, a woman I'd wanted to kill less than eight hours ago, and the possible love of my undead life, I'm in over my head with this. Of course I have no clue what this is going to entail, but that's never stopped me before.

The only reason it got one star for story and overall is because I could not finish the book. The narrators voice is awful. I have listen to all the other books and enjoyed the narrator so I didn’t look before I bought this one. I can’t finish so I hope I don’t miss much of the story by going to the next book.
