About this listen

Lucy Gray doesn't always start trouble, but it's sure to be there when she arrives.

This time when she runs from her hometown, she's determined to undo her biggest mistake yet and finally hits some good luck. But her sister, Taylor, has always told her that if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. This time, she might be right.

Deputy Taylor Gray grew up wanting to solve crimes, but she never dreamed of taking on a case that could change her family forever, either bringing them together in a healthier dynamic or shattering any hope of ever fixing the many fractures within. With this one, there's no other option—she will get to the truth.

Lucy in the Sky is book two of the new Hart's Ridge small-town mystery series, written by Kay Bratt, million-copy bestselling author of Wish Me Home and True to Me.

Featuring a true crime element, the Hart's Ridge series is built around Deputy Taylor Gray, a young woman carrying the world on her shoulders as she does her best to solve mysteries while simultaneously piecing her fractured family back together, one bit at a time.

Wow is all I can say!

What a story in the second book of Hart’s Ridge. My only “complaint” was that I couldn’t put it down so finished it in record time! Reminds me of other Kay Bratt books that keep you listening without stopping.

Nothing like having sisters!

I love the different personalities of each sister. I love how they come together when they need each other.

Twists and turns

Left me wondering what happens next! I love the character. The reader does well with many accents. Great plot!

The story line is unbelievable but continuing this family’s story is a bit addictive!

The Lucy portion is nuts…the Mom’s “framing” is crazy & the fathers’ reaction is nothing short of pathetic but I still bought book 3 to see what happens! Guess I’m crazy too!!

Slower than the first book.

It took me a while to get into this one but it finally picked up and I enjoyed it enough that I’m getting book 3.

Gripping and created exceptionally well

Absolutely Remarkable, THIS novel leaves you on the edge of your seat with the best cliffhanger.
This also includes the best eye opening, how did it come to this scenario and WOW how in the world... grips your heart and leaves you breathless plot twist, OMG... COME ON SEPT 12, I NEED MORE!!!! (I must wait now for the 3rd novel) ... How does Kay do it, Talk about another masterpiece of her wild imagination expertly created.

Great sequel

I really enjoyed the flow of this book and how Taylor had a stronger personality than the first book. It was a perfect blend of tying in the first book and adding plenty of new characters and adventure.
