Story
Eveline Armstrong is fiercely loved and protected by her powerful clan, but outsiders consider her "touched." Beautiful, fey, with a level, intent gaze, she doesn't speak. No one, not even her family, knows that she cannot hear. Content with her life of seclusion, Eveline has taught herself to read lips and allows the outside world to view her as daft. But when an arranged marriage into a rival clan makes Graeme Montgomery her husband, Eveline accepts her duty -unprepared for the delights to come.

I love the chemistry between Eveline and Graeme. His attention to her and his thoughts are just so romantic and adoring. She is a hard worker, caring, and is loyal. The two characters together is magic. I loved the narration! Kirsten Potter is flawless! I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by her! She was such a joy to listen to! She has so many different voices and accents, she is so talented! Great story, great characters, great narration, just absolutely fabulous!

Story
Since his return from war, the Duke of Ashbury's to-do list has been short and anything but sweet: brooding, glowering, menacing London ne'er-do-wells by night. Now there's a new item on the list. He needs an heir - which means he needs a wife. When Emma Gladstone, a vicar's daughter turned seamstress, appears in his library wearing a wedding gown, he decides on the spot that she'll do.

This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. The banter between The hero and heroine is absolutely spot on. I laughed out loud! Honestly, I will definitely be reading this again, especially when I need a laugh.

Ah-mazing book

This is seriously one of my favorite books. It made me laugh out loud. The steamy scenes were SO good. I will definitely be reading this one again. All of the characters were superb and the stories each of them had were not only interesting but really helped to know what they looked like, what they experienced, who they were as a person, and just about everything you need to know in order to connect with them. The narration was SPOT ON. I couldn’t say enough how good Mary Jane Wells did on the narration. She has the best accents, a broad range of tones, and different speeds in which she speaks with each character. She really made each character distinctly different from another and she was amazing. I want to listen to more of her narrations for sure! Great job Tessa Dare! This is definitely a keeper!

The bet was simple. You draw a name from the hat. That's the girl you have to seduce. The girl you have to make fall head over heels in love with you. It wasn't hard for him to do, in fact, it was something he did all the time. He was known for breaking hearts. Sex was just that, sex. And it didn't take him very long to get a woman on her back. And then he drew her name: Jules Peterson. His former best friend, first kiss, and first love. She shattered his heart into a million pieces three years ago. She left him right when he needed her most.

I absolutely loved this story line. I loved that they were best friends. It was the only difference between this book and the book titled After. I loved the book After and the whole series and so I was a bit disappointed how alike this story was to that. Other than that, I loved the names that were picked and the character backgrounds. It made the story so raw and deep. The love they have for one another is unparalleled and it truly pulls at the heartstrings!

Story
A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

More serious than funny
Reviewed: 12-04-20
The description of the book made it sound like it was a funny novel with romance and sauciness mixed in. However, the storyline had more in-depth moments and more heart-wrenching experiences than I thought there would be. It was still very good and I would recommend it for sure. I love Vi Keeland and this book did not disappoint.

Story
You're not supposed to want the one who torments you. When my stepbrother, Elec, came to live with us my senior year, I wasn't prepared for how much of a jerk he'd be. I hated that he took it out on me because he didn't want to be here. I hated that he brought girls from our high school back to his room. But what I hated the most was the unwanted way my body reacted to him.

I highly recommend this book. I love a good enemies to lovers story and this is perfect in that! It is amazing to see Greta and Elec mature and through life events are brought back together. They truly wanted to do what is right and kept convincing themselves that the right thing was for them to not be together. However over time and many moments of honesty and vulnerability, they came to know what was the true right thing to do. I loved it!!!

Story
Sharing a summer house with a hot-as-hell roommate should be a dream come true, right? Not when it's Justin...the only person I'd ever loved...who now hates me. When my grandmother died and left me half of the house on Aquidneck Island, there was a catch: the other half would go to the boy she helped raise.

This book made me cry, laugh, and everything in between. Honestly, this is one of my favorite books. The way that Amelia and Justin was so beautiful. They both had their moments of being blunt and vulnerable, but that is what made the story as good as it is! I definitely recommend this book! It is worth so much more than one credit. Thank you Penelope Ward for writing such great novel! It touched my heart.

Story
Terminated for inappropriate behavior. I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands. Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba. All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends - a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought.... I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company. I didn’t think he’d actually respond.

This book was SO good. There was depth where depth was needed. There was humor where humor was needed. There were plot twists that kept it gripping. There were two main characters who had so much in common, yet had their differences which they supported each other through. It was a very good book and one definitely worth the credit! This is yet another amazing story by Vi Keeland.

Story
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards. We met at a wedding. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction. I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me. We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.

This book was so good! I listened to it in one day. I love the depth of the characters and their past experiences. I loved who they were and what they represented. I loved how Natalia tried so hard with Izzie and how she helped her to become a better version of herself. I also loved the ending and how vulnerable they became for one another. Such a great love story and one I would recommend many times over! Completely worth a credit! You will not regret it!

Story
Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

I loved so much about this book. The characters were both simple and complex. The story line was really good with moments that could truly happen in real life, thus making it relatable. I love when the main couple in a book are put through hard situations thus making them more grateful for each other. Well done Vi Keeland, Sebastian York, and Andi Arndt. Loved it!
