Story
Inti Flynn arrives in Scotland with her twin sister, Aggie, to lead a team of biologists tasked with reintroducing fourteen gray wolves into the remote Highlands. She hopes to heal not only the dying landscape, but Aggie, too, unmade by the terrible secrets that drove the sisters out of Alaska. Inti is not the woman she once was, either, changed by the harm she’s witnessed—inflicted by humans on both the wild and each other. Yet as the wolves surprise everyone by thriving, Inti begins to let her guard down, even opening herself up to the possibility of love.

Really really great story & awesome narrator. Everything I love in an audiobook, dark but not depressing, believable characters, Saskia character voice great as always. Hard to explain without spoilers but I think in this story there is something for everyone 👍👍

Story
Dr. Corinne Cabot is living the American dream. She's a successful ER physician in Chicago who's married to a handsome husband. Together, they live in a charming house in the suburbs. But appearances can be deceiving - and what no one can see is Corinne's dark past. Troubling gaps in her memory mean she recalls little about a haunting event in her life years ago that changed everything. She remembers only being in the house the night two people were found murdered. Her father was there, too. Now her father is in prison; she hasn't been in contact in years.

I really really enjoyed this book right up until the ending. Oops!!!! THERE IS NO ENDING. I’m so disappointed as I loved Simon(yes the bad guy) . I thought it was gonna be one of the rare gems. I seriously thought maybe audio file error. It’s like the author was working on his finish and just dropped dead. I’m mad😡

Story
Working as a dedicated forensic psychiatrist for many years, Emma is not shocked so easily. Then she is assigned to work with Connie, a wife and mother accused of a despicable crime. Connie is suffering from dissociative amnesia - or at least seems to be. Now it is up to Emma to decide whether Connie can stand trial for her sins. But there is something about Connie that inexorably pulls Emma into her orbit. Too Close is a masterfully written riveting listen about the powerful - yet dangerous - closeness between women.
