The narrator is an old friend fans of the series are used and she does an excellent job.

They have a history and not a good one. Their present could be so much more if they get past their problem. His music career needs a boost. The opportunity is there IF he sings with Sadie. Little does he know their issues aren't all that makes her hesitate. She's an empath. A huge audience could be more than she can handle.

The situation changes when a town-wide curse interferes. Can they team up to help the town and their careers? What about their feelings for each other?

We get to visit old friends and see how their lives are progressing. Don't worry if you are new to the series, this can stand alone.

Enjoy. I did.

As usual, a few months zafter enjoying the ebook, Ms. Chase offers the audio in time for a reread. I love the bedtime stories. The narrator is always the same providing the same talant with each book.

Things always seem to be changing. She's trying to strengthen her business while helping keep the town safe becoming part of the paranormal policing force since her love has his own paranormal dealings to keep him busy.

A new wolf pack has come near town. Are they here to settle or cause friction? She hopes it's the former since he wants help finding a mate through Marion's matchmaking service. With disappearances in town, she'll have to do double duty unless...you'll have to read to find out more.

The author and narrator always deliver and this is no exception.

Marcia

Her inheritance stipulations were filled with surprises. She and her friends want to continue the good deeds even with her relative absent. Would they have moved forward if they'd seen their future?

There was never a dull moment. Her support system was ready and willing to help. This new team has started with a fun, sometimes funny series I'm enjoying. You will, too. Each mystery can stand alone. I've read the next and am waiting (hint hint)

The Witch's Secret Love by Deanna Chase Pub 6/8/24 5 stars
Lily & Braxton

Her popular love advice column is suddenly backfiring. The often humorous suggestions have suddenly drawn more women to the man Lily is drawn to herself. Something isn't right and they're going to find out what. The discovery involves old loves, wanna-be new lovers, and dangerous magic.

Her coven is always there to help, with more help kept secret even from Lily. Will they be able to find the guilty dark magic weavers?

It's nice to be read to even when I've read the book.

I love sharing more stories with the characters I've grown to know and love from previous books as well as new love interests.

Wisdom of the Witch by Deanna Chase -- Noel & Drew, 2 kids, a dog, some baby chicks & ghosts.

Her life is what she's dreamed of, a family with kids, a house almost renovated, and her business running well. With their busy lives, a weekend alone is just what they need. Some strange things are happening, but they won't let it stop them. When they come home their youngest is terrified of the "lady" Clara. No one else sees her.

Is she a ghost? Other ghosts have shown up in town but they are usually friendly. Some of the things happening around her aren't so friendly. Will she cause trouble? Will they be able to handle her either way?

Short but filled with action and more. A great bedtime story that is short enough not to keep you up all night reading and a good read all the same. Good narration adds to the enjoyment.

Alpacas and Alibis by Ramey James
Sadie & her Girl Gang

What a good collaboration! The girl gang and the authors. Add the narration and we have a real winner.

Sadie needed to work with her sister to maintain the yarn shop her grandmother had bequeathed to them. She and her sister did not get along even before a dead body was found in the shop. Sadie is determined to rescue the woman accused of the crime. She was their deceased grandmother's best friend. Sadie knew her well and knew she could not have done it.

Having returned home for her grandmother's funeral and to comply with her wishes, she now had a murder to solve as well as dealing with the local police, and the man who she once loved the sheriff.

The story has it all, mystery, danger, romance, great characters, and more. I pride myself on figuring out the culprit in most mysteries I read. I couldn't guess this one. Good luck if you try.

There is at least one more book in the series. I hope that is just the beginning.

Moving to the little magical town she didn't think she'd she him again. Cash. It cost her to end their relationship. How had he found her? They had a past—one that was suppoded to be over.

She tried to talk herself out of the feelings she couldn't ignore. History was going to rear back into her life. How much would it cost this time? She was despertly trying to ignore her medium abilities. Cash made it even more difficult.

Life is about to crash her progress. Or I guess you'd say death since the culprit is a ghost.

The author's written a story to capture fans attention and include so many characters from past stories. There is humor, remember the Golf Cart Races? Trusty friends and family new and old. This was one of my favorites. I guarantee you'll enjoy and want to listen again.

Take the Win Tapioca Style Series, Book 3 By: Georgianne Landy-Kordis Narrated by: Ann Bumbak

Life is easy. She had two great kids. They are smart making it harder to include them and be both mother and father. Still, she works cases with her partner. I enjoy their working relationship. Too bad they have a co-worker who has never learned the meaning of the word no--even before she lost her husband.

Dating hasn't been successful for her. Then she meets a man she's attracted to. Is there a chance the feeling is returned?

Good characters new and old, intrigue. and more. Another winner.
