A very enjoyable read. My only gripe is that it seems that the F bomb is able to find its way into a fantasy. Got to be better ways to make a point.

I liked everything about it. So far so good! First I want to hear all of my books read by this reader. Between the great writing and the reader it never got boring. I liked the pace at which the story and the reader worked. (and I think he sounded like Tom Hanks) Second I liked that the author managed to make a great story and do it with out any foul language! To me it shows intelligence that doesn’t have to be filled in with superlative words. Lastly I haven’t heard a book that I couldn’t wait to read and can’t wait to listen to the next one!

The story was long. The reader was good but at times hard to distinguish between characters. The plot was good but it jumped around and again at times was hard to follow. Overall I liked the book and will read again, maybe I will catch all the stuff I lost in the muddle.

This was the kindest post apocalyptic book I have ever read! There was a little bit of language to dirty it up a little but the rest of the book made the end of the world look like a Disney ride. I believe that I was generous to give it two stars.

I have an extensive diverse audio book collection which is why I chose this book. The write up of this book falls short of how good it is. It has taken me to fabulous places. The reader was perfect for this book and his voice and interpretation made me want to sit back in a rocking chair down in the bayous and drink tea and listen to the slow easy tempo of the south.

I have enjoyed the whole series of books . I have listened to several books in this genre but I have enjoyed this series by Forstchen the most. It has all the great story line with out thinking that the whole world uses foul language as their first language . I also liked the narrator very much and would give him high marks as one of my favorites .
