it was a struggle at the beginning lots of information lots of questions created all at once that took the entire book to answer but in the end I'm looking forward to the next book you literally know everything about the characters and they do exactly what you'd expect them to do by the end of the book which is a good thing in that the author built to character and helps you to understand the character for who they are and then make sure that the character is doing what you expect them to do based on that knowledge.

I loved this episodic, yet sequential telling of the stories of the Norse Gods. I will be buying the hardcover.

as a long time enjoyer of the Gilmore Girls and a supremely excited person about finally getting to see the ending this is the behind-the-scenes commentary that we all buy DVDs for but in this case you have to buy an audiobook in order to get it to truly feel like it should

Loved it, fair contrast between character life and action, with a strong level of intrigue that keeps you guessing till the end.

The author is very good at creating a set of protagonists with realistic humanity. Affected by their experiences and making mistakes despite being the hero we seek.

The book itself is almost annoying in the way the main character is written but in the end it's totally worth it. Read the abhorsen trilogy first.
