I listened to volume 1 as well. It was good. Christian sounds like a real person relaying what a normal human being would do in this situation.

Barely a zombie / fight mentioned. Mostly tracking the personal travels of a trio on a special "memorial" trip, painfully over-detailing everything they encountered.

Before this one, I had just listened to another zombie book that was dulled with political correctness.
This book is filled with political bias. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the points but it was very overt.

A little generic but entertaining. Contains some "forced" PC topics that takes away from as much as it gives to the quality of the book.

It was well written blasphemy against Shakespeare and Macbeth.
The author just had to add absolutely gratuitous sex scenes. He made Lady Macbeth into a Disney princess. The witches had more lines than Macbeth himself.
This was almost like enduring a Twilight movie.

This was a fun listening experience. Many times we were going so fast I could barely keep. Others, I was paying close attention to life lessons learned by this crazy boy.

A quick little story even though unabridged.
Well that is compared to the 91 hour Wizard of Oz series I had just finished.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series of audiobooks!
The stories were fun and the characters endearing. I was surprised to find myself rooting out loud for our protagonists.
The hours flew by but being that there were 91 hours, I had plenty time to enjoy.
The narrator had a myriad of good voices for man, woman and child and all the weird and wonderful animals.
The last story of this series was finished by another author (Ruth Plumy Thompson if I'm not mistaken) due to Frank Baum's passing. His death was gently touched upon in the story. It was sad to know this was the end of the series but it was written very well and on a warm note.
