Great narrators and storyline!
I did t want to stop listening.
There wasn’t a lot of steamy stuff going on but there was a build up to it. I still enjoyed it a lot.

Story
Everyone knows who the Fisher brothers are: the hottest single bartenders this side of the Santa Monica Pier. Which is exactly why when I run into Ryan Fisher one day at the beach, I intend to steer clear of him and his sexy, playboy ways. I’ve heard the rumors. I know his type. I’ve seen him in action. And I’m not interested. But Ryan has other ideas. He’s convinced that I have him all wrong. But I don’t have the luxury of making mistakes when it comes to men. Not anymore. Being a single mom does that to a woman.

Story
Dean Evans is the worst. Not only does the devil in disguise steal my pie on a regular basis, he also lives in the apartment right. Next. Door. I see him all the time. At the mailboxes. In the elevator. Every single morning. It's exhausting because he's exhausting. Now, after setting his apartment on fire, he's my roommate, and he's the worst at that, too. I don't know what possessed me to let him stay with me. Pity, perhaps? I do know that I won't be falling for his charm.

Story
I’m Jake Masterson, single dad, and the general manager of Seattle’s NHL team. I walked away from a career as a player so I could raise my daughter. For the last 20-plus years, Queenie has been my main priority, but now she’s getting married. And there’s a small complication. A beautiful, sexy complication named Hanna.

Wholesome and unfortunately dull
Reviewed: 02-25-22
The beginning of the story was good and fun with the sneaking around but then it became dull and predictable. Previous books in this series are fun and exciting and this particular book didn’t keep my interest.

Story
If people have polar opposites, Luca Rossi is mine. His butt is in the baseball hall of fame. Mine's comfortably seated in the hall of lame. When he's not snagging fly balls out in center field, he's modeling in shampoo commercials. I once jammed my own finger while stirring cookie dough, and sometimes I forget shampoo is a thing. He's a total cynic when it comes to love. I make a living writing love stories. But after my latest broken engagement (no, I don't want to talk about how many times that's happened), it's clear he's exactly the man I need.

Silly and outrageous
Reviewed: 06-02-21
I know a lot of people enjoyed this book, but I felt the story was over the top and seemed like it was just trying too hard to be funny. I tuned out but listened all the way through. If it weren’t for the narrators , I would have bailed out of the story. Luckily it was included in my membership and I didn’t have to use a credit.

Story
I've met the greatest guy ever. Noah Walsh is handsome as sin. He's sweet and smart and successful and sexy - all the best adjectives beginning with "S". My six-year-old daughter worships the ground he walks on ever since he fashioned her smiley face pancakes out of bananas and blueberries. Oh yeah, and he can cook. The only problem? I dumped this great guy a decade ago, right after I wrecked his life. And boy, this man holds a grudge.

Enjoyed the book and the audible version
Reviewed: 12-14-20
I had previously read the book and its sequel in the past and wanted to listen to the audible version.
There were sad and angsty parts but with happy ending.
The only negative was the 6 year old daughter/character.-She was a bit irritating and whiny to hear in the audible version. Overall, I still enjoyed the story.
Waiting for the second book in audible version- My Perfect Fiancée

A bit too taboo
Reviewed: 06-09-20
The age and circumstance of the relationship was bothersome to me.
I finished the book as other reviews were good but I found myself cringing and forwarding the book .
The age of the characters is 15 years apart. This wouldn’t bother me as much if was a 25 y/o (who has had time to grow up and experience real life )and a 40 y/o but the romance triggered when she was 17/18 years old and just graduating high school and he was 33 years old. He also practically raised her from infancy and became the creepy uncle.

Story
When I was five years old, I told Toren Grace we were going to get married someday. He’d been my closest friend, my protector, and my rock since the day I was born. But during my senior year, our relationship slowly changed. Silly conversations morphed into serious heart-to-hearts. Innocent friendship turned to stolen glances. Then one day, an unexpected kiss changed everything.

Dull and drawn out
Reviewed: 01-27-20
The book started out promising but unfortunately, I found this book to be extremely drawn out and repetitive.
I ended up fast forwarding and then changed the listening audio speed to 1-1/2 times to make it go faster.
The storyline was sweet and almost vanilla. I didn’t find this to be her best work.

He's That Guy. You know, the hero in almost every romance novel. The super-rich, powerful CEO who is beyond sexy. Lives in a penthouse. Is wicked in bed. Has massive.... feet. Is kind of a jerk, but really he's not because he harbors some major secret that, once revealed, explains why he is the way he is - therefore completely redeeming himself and making all the listeners who hated to love him swoon....

I don’t get where all the raving reviews are coming from. The plot line and summary had potential but it ended up being a ridiculous and unrealistic story. I realize these stories aren’t always meant to be realistic but it was just silly. I didn’t even finish it.
