Publisher's summary

I've met the greatest guy ever.

Noah Walsh is handsome as sin. He's sweet and smart and successful and sexy - all the best adjectives beginning with "S". My six-year-old daughter worships the ground he walks on ever since he fashioned her smiley face pancakes out of bananas and blueberries. Oh yeah, and he can cook.

The only problem?

I dumped this great guy a decade ago, right after I wrecked his life. And boy, this man holds a grudge.

Enjoyed the book and the audible version

I had previously read the book and its sequel in the past and wanted to listen to the audible version.
There were sad and angsty parts but with happy ending.
The only negative was the 6 year old daughter/character.-She was a bit irritating and whiny to hear in the audible version. Overall, I still enjoyed the story.
Waiting for the second book in audible version- My Perfect Fiancée

Painful to listen.

First off she’s supposed to be a social worker who hates her job. Second complains at every single thing, tbh it sounded like this book is written by a teenager because no adult sounds like these characters. Smh the flash backs OMFG they were pointless and honestly going back and forth gave me a whiplash. There were no growth difference between college them and adult them. Don’t waste your credit or time.

snore!

The storyline was boring and quiet insulting! to have the character be a social worker and complain about it and say that that is not a good career it's very insulting. I have a couple of friends who are social workers and they say that even though it is a very hard job, they love what they do because they get to help people, especially children. they tell me the the hardest thing about their job is seen children pin the conditions that they are but it is also rewarding for them because they get to help them as well.

another thing that adds salt to the Moon about the storyline is the author bragging about one of the characters becoming a doctor and on a multiple properties and having a lavish lifestyle. yes, it is sad that this character got into a really bad accident and had to have both legs amputated, but you would think considering this happened he would end up being more humble.

the main character I had a daughter that was 6 years old? the author did not have 6-year-old girl act like she was 6 years old. she acted more like she was three or four years old.

also, just the way the whole storyline went, bothered me. the way it kept going from present to past. I felt the author should have just started from the past, and talked about the past and didn't work this way into the present

for me, there's simply was just not enough to give it any more than one star.
