4 "For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame." The best part of the book is showing how people compare themselves to others and how that gets us into financial trouble. Rachel did an awesome job narrating the book with great enthusiasm! Thank you for the great information and funny stories!

Understanding the Kingdom of God

Overall
4 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 05-02-20

I appreciate the focus of The Kingdom of God coming to earth as Jesus King of heaven and earth. I appreciate the focus of linking the Jewish history in the coming of the Messiah. i appreciate the linking of the Kingdom with the cross and how they work hand in hand. It seemed to me the book spent to much time on the problem of ignoring the kingdom, but not enough time on what that means for Christians to work out in their day to day living. I would have liked it if the author had given more personal examples of kingdom living to show how that works today.
