This book challenges you by asking if you see yourself mostly as a victim or whether you feel that you have some control over your life. It also asks you to think about what your life purpose is, and what you can contribute to the world that you can monetise, rather than chasing after money as an end in itself.

I'm really good at beating myself up for mistakes and speaking to myself harshly. As a yoga practitioner I love the fact that the idea of Ahimsa, or non-harm can apply to being kind and compassionate to myself. This audiobook explores the idea of self-forgiveness and compassion in a straightforward way. It differentiates between forgiving yourself for your behaviour, and condoning that behaviour, and helps to free you from shame and guilt. I love that the book explains that you feel physically lighter when you achieve this. Thank you.

A story about how a little krill learns its place in the grand scheme of things. Beautiful imagery and lovely narration, and a happy ending despite the darkness at the start.

Hannukah explained from the point of view of Benjamin, a small boy celebrating the festival with his family. The story of the origins of the festival is told, and Benjamin's pride at hearing his father and grandfather sing is beautifully described.

Beautiful, poetic fairy tale about having everything and still not being happy. I'd love to hear this as part of a collection of similar stories or poems. Fantastic performance by the narrator.
