Story
Nora Hamilton knows the formula for love better than anyone. As a romance channel screenwriter, it’s her job. But when her too-good-to work husband leaves her and their two kids, Nora turns her marriage’s collapse into cash and writes the best script of her life. No one is more surprised than her when it’s picked up for the big screen and set to film on location at her 100-year-old-home. When former Sexiest Man Alive, Leo Vance, is cast as her ne’er do well husband Nora’s life will never be the same.

Not your typical rom-com, the premise sounds a bit predictable but it wasn't...it was real, relatable with life's twists and turns. I fell in love with the characters, I thought the children were great, they were an integral part of the story. A feel good story for sure, didn't want it to end, you won't be disappointed if you read it, the narrator did a great job also!

Story
Beth and her gentle, kind husband Frank are happily married, but their relationship relies on the past staying buried. But when Beth’s brother-in-law shoots a dog going after their sheep, Beth doesn’t realize that the gunshot will alter the course of their lives. For the dog belonged to none other than Gabriel Wolfe, the man Beth loved as a teenager—the man who broke her heart years ago. Gabriel has returned to the village with his young son Leo, a boy who reminds Beth very much of her own son, who died in a tragic accident.

Wow what a story, great characters, such an emotional ride! I really felt for Beth, I absolutely loved her and the two special men in her life. I felt for all of them, many twists and turns but they all made sense in the end. Narration was perfect! So good I listened again, I have never done that before, loved it that much!!

This story had depth and emotion evolving from the main characters; including fear, guilt, and love. I was rooting for Holland and Zander all the way through but admittedly felt the story was a little drawn out with the mystery/secret each possessed, but all in all a worthwhile and enjoyable read. I and was happy to see their HEA!

Story
Shelby Hunt has the perfect life, married to the perfect man. At least, that's what anyone would think, looking at her. They couldn't possibly know about the past five years of lonely nights, or the divorce papers still sitting unsigned on her husband's desk, or the shady business practices he's brought home on more than one occasion - often in the form of scary men with loaded guns and briefcases full of laundered cash.

With all of the pluck and charm of its eponymous young hero, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook, Spotlight, Midnight in Paris) delivers a spectacular reading of Montgomery's beloved bildungsroman. In moments both funny and bittersweet, McAdams' voice is imbued with the spark that has made Anne a much-loved symbol of individualism and cheer for over a century.

Anne's story is so heartfelt!
I had so many "feel good" moments while listening to Rachel McAdam's passionate narration of Anne. She truly express what was in Anne's heart; I felt all her emotions, her exuberance of life and the beauty of everything that she saw. I absolutely loved everything about Anne's story and the joy she brought to Matthew and Marilla and the town of Avonlea.

Not only did I keep wanting to drink kombucha while listening to Duff's story but his words have inspired me to get back to making some, as I did years ago...have to dig out the old gallon jugs! A perfect moniker for him, "The Kombucha Philosopher" as the editor of Booch News proclaimed him to be; I loved his correlations to life, earth and this joyful drink!

Story
It's 1999, and Eira Hart and Ru Tattersall are set up to co-host The Lonely Harts Club, a new late-night radio show to help New Yorkers find love. It's a last chance attempt for both Eira, expert in Celtic mythology and amateur Welsh matchmaker, and Ru, once-hot-shot Aussie DJ, to achieve their New York dreams. The thing is, you either click with a co-host, or you don’t. It’s a bit like falling in love. There’s co-host chemistry, or there isn’t. With the countdown to a new millennium, it feels like the world as they know it is about to end.

This was my first book by Jamie Ford. I was expecting something different, more along the lines of Lisa See or Amy Tan, and it surprised me...pleasantly! What also surprised me was that as a male author, he told the story from a woman's point of view very well, so relatable. I really loved this book, I thought the subject matter was fascinating! The story involving epigenetics told in a fictional format based on a real-life person at the center of the story was very creative. I found the characters intriguing, they pulled me in and couldn't stop listening!

Story
Imagine if you made one little mistake when you were young and were punished for it for the rest of your life. Well, that’s what happened to Lydia (yes, that Lydia, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice), and she’s here to set the record straight. Hold on to your teacups and get ready for sophisticated (and a little bit naughty) hot takes and witty banter that’ll make you laugh—and think. We meet Lydia just as she is denounced by her family, exiled miles from home, and married to the rogue George Wickham, who seems to love all women...except his own wife.
