Super good sequel to wolf king I’m really sad I have to wait for the next book in the series. The plot twists were pretty unexpected keeping me on my toes but not outlandish that I couldn’t follow the story.

Interesting villain

The book was pretty good it had an interesting villain that was very different from most romance wolf shifter novels. The AI wasn’t that bad either usually they’re choppy. But this one was fairly smooth I forgot it was AI voiced at one point. A bit lengthy for no reason but over all good book,

Story
I'm not so different from most people. Like everyone else, I have life goals. Goal #1: Become a real girl instead of this invisible ghost thing I currently am. Goal #2: Convince the four men I've been haunting for the past five years to pick me to be their new toy after goal one is complete. Goal #3: Figure out who/what I am and why I can't remember anything past the five years I've been haunting this quad. Goal #4: Eat popcorn. See? Perfectly normal. Sort of. Gotta start small, after all. It's not like anyone else is perfect either.

Interesting fantasy rendition of hell and the levels of it, along with the structure of the world.
Staring the apocalypse, 7 deadly sins, 4 horseman angels and the devil and much more
Super unique rendition of it all with a good amount of spice thrown in strategically
Well written

Story
No one expects a princess to be brutal. And Lada Dragwlya likes it that way. Ever since she and her gentle younger brother, Radu, were wrenched from their homeland of Wallachia and abandoned by their father to be raised in the Ottoman courts, Lada has known that being ruthless is the key to survival. She and Radu are doomed to act as pawns in a vicious game, an unseen sword hovering over their every move. For the lineage that makes them special also makes them targets.

Generally out of my comfort zones with genre but it captured me in so well! The writing style is different from most others I’ve read right out of the gate but the main characters are so well developed and interesting I’m rooting for them even while thinking their flaws are going to cause me to DNF the book but i couldn’t put it down.
MFC is fierce and determined and almost villainous but also a scared girl trying to find her own way
MMC is soft and scared but well spoken and learns the value of being invisible.
Incredible book

Well, I'm locked up in prison, and I've lost my magic. Not what I expected, to say the least. To make things worse, my husband locked me in here. "To have and to hold" doesn't necessarily apply when you're the king and queen of a fae court. A chance at freedom comes when our realm is attacked by an ancient enemy. Lore releases me to help defeat the evil that is devouring our kingdom, but it's going to be a dangerous battle. My only chance is to get my magic back, but that's easier said than done.

The other did a good job imagining things and coming up with the story, I so wish she had developed the story more. This book was 3rd in a trilogy that was almost too short for the price of the book! Book2&3 could have been one book. But the story was great otherwise!

This story is one of my all time favorites. It’s lacking in depth and other areas of the story but over all it’s a wonderful story. I wish so much that the author would have spent more time on it and written a trilogy with it. The story has so much potential but then again the author originally never intended it to be published.

Drags on needlessly
Reviewed: 11-06-23
The book was fantastic don’t get me wrong, but I am a bit miffed an how much over explanation the author does! Towards the end the last about 3/4 hours of the book seemed to consist of over explanations on matters already addressed.
I feel like the book dragged out just so we could pay for another installment of this series… which lets be honest, I’m still gonna read that one also, but I was hoping for more action and adventure and maybe another fight scene within those last 3 hours of the book.
