In the highly anticipated sequel to The Wolf King, this sizzling romantasy—perfect for fans of enemies to lovers, shifters, forbidden romance, villains you love to hate (or maybe just love!), and werewolves—Aurora is caught between powerful alphas as they fight for the Wolf Throne, all while darker forces begin to rise…

“Let me have you. Just once. Please.”

Aurora may have survived the Wolf King, but his bite marks her skin. In accordance with wolf law, that makes her his property. Now, he wants her back.

To beat him and take his throne, Aurora and Callum must form a dangerous alliance with one of the most feared Wolves in the Kingdom, Blake. He is their enemy, but he has entangled his life with Aurora’s—meaning she cannot harm him without forfeiting her own life.

As she fights to break their connection, she suspects Blake is keeping secrets about a dark power that rises in the north, and the unsettling nature of the bond between them. It seems there is a bigger game at play than who sits on the Wolf Throne—one that threatens both the Kingdom of Wolves, and the Kingdom of Men.

With her wolf awakening, enemies closing in, relationships tested, and secrets revealed—Aurora may be the only one who can stop an ancient evil from rising.

If she can figure out who to trust.

If she can figure out where she, and her heart, belong.

If she can stay alive.

Aurora was a but annoying at times. Ok….Most of the time. But it didn’t take away from the story. I’m so upset I have to wait an unknown amount of time for the third book.

All the feels

I devoured this one! I loved this book. My only complaint was the fmc was super whiny for quite a bit of the book.

First of all, 2025 has been the year of 5-6 star reads, I do not know how I’ve hit the literature jackpot book after book, but this series has hands down become my favorite so far. I was SO happy to have been kept on my toes. Just when I thought I figured it out-NOPE. The way Lauren writes her hints to some of the twists tied together so fluidly once the plot twists drop and you realize. I haven’t been this infatuated with a sneaky male since Rhysand. Blake is a top 3 mmc I’ve read. He was written with so much secrecy, depth, and complexity. Ugh please let this man survive this and be the end game to our firey gal 😭

I NEED BOOK 3 like I need blood in my veins & ice in my coffee

First, I wish I could give the narrators a standing ovation! Wow! They corrected the voice used for Blake for this book and it is a 100% improvement. Five stars for the narrators!!! With regards to the book, I'm a bit stunned, confused, and very intrigued after Book 2 in The Wolf King Series. The Night Prince picks up exactly where The Wolf King left off. 80% of the book is a lot of set-up and back and forth over who the FMC is really in love with. She makes a lot of infuriating choices but I never felt infuriated with her- that's a credit to the writing! The FMC is strong and soft and finding her footing with no information and a lot of lies being fed to her. The MMCs are both compelling, sexy, and interesting. There is spice and it is hot. The last 20% of the book is action packed and I'm processing it and trying to make sense of it. I love the world building, the supporting characters, and the magic. I am all in for Book 3 and by then I hope to understand what I just read in Book 2! LOL

Not Sure What Just Happened, But I Liked it!
