Story
I caught her staring at me from across the quad, eyes fixed on the football jersey stretched across my wide chest. And if I flexed my muscles, showing off the strength of a defensive tackle, it was just to see her blush. And then she did, and I couldn’t get her out of my mind. Her wide eyes. The freckles on her cheeks. I needed to know her. The girl who scampered away every time we bumped into each other—by accident and by design.

What a great start to this series - a little sweet, a little spicy and leaves you wanting the next one immediately!
Hannah is the nerdy girl who works at the library on campus and is new to the university as a transfer student. Maddox “Mad Dog” is the big man on campus as a member of the football team. Their eyes meet across the way but Hannah runs to her class. After class, Hannah heads to lunch and then her job. Quickly she realizes she has gone the wrong way and turns around quickly. Are same time, Maddox is running after the pretty girl he saw before and leans in to touch her as she spins around and crashes directly into his chest. This collision leaves her with a bit of a bloody nose and a football player that is falling fast for her. They continue to spend time together and connect on a very special level.
I love a great meet cute story but a meet cute story that ends up with them being locked in the library overnight is delicious!
Enjoy this prequel and get ready for the rest of the story between Hannah & Maddox
Enjoy the read! Peace ☮️ friends!

Story
My name is Caroline "Candy" Cane, I own a country inn, date a man who runs a Christmas tree farm, and my mom's peppermint fudge wins first place at the Reindeer Corners' festival every year. Basically, I'm living every romance-loving girlie's small town dream. Until a last minute trip to New York City leads to catching my boyfriend banging a Rockette (in full elf costume). So, when I'm offered a chance to star in a hospitality-themed reality show, I jump at the chance to serve hot cocoa in roller skates on national television.

Cute Holiday Story

This story is the perfect little holiday nugget. The narration on this is superb!!
Caroline “Candy” Cane, part owner of the inn in a town called Reindeer Corner in Vermont. She heads into NYC for a Christmas hospitality conference. It was a trip her bestie Kayla was supposed to take but Kayla knows that Candy misses big city life.
As she is on the floor of the exposition, oddly enough she runs into her boyfriend Chris and his Rockette dancer side piece. Needless to say, they break up and Candy is left wondering why she didn’t see this earlier. During the run in with her ex, she is noticed by Leo, a reality TV show director. Leo invites her to audition for the holiday themed show his is currently casting for.
She cast on the show and Leo instantly falls for Candy and her amazing attitude and her beauty. Kay what he didn’t need right now. Little does Leo know, Candy has a direct connection to his past. The situations that unravel from there are fun and light including Greg the devil cat.
There is light spice in this - just the right amount for this length of story. This book sets the right tone for the upcoming holidays. The banter is quick and the MMC is very sweet and thoughtful of Candy’s needs. The side characters development is great and the little town of Reindeer Corner sounds delightful!

Josie Bancroft may be single, but she is definitely not ready to mingle. All she wants to do post-breakup is focus on herself. A simple task, but as a marketing manager for McAllister Racing, she spends every race weekend alongside the charismatic Formula 1 driver, Theo Walker. With his iceberg-melting smile and abs sharper than a cheese grater, he’s a distraction she shouldn’t entertain but can’t seem to ignore.

Drive Me Wild – Carly Robyn
4.25 stars ⭐️
Carly Robyn is a “new to me” author and I am so glad I found her books. This is Book 2 in the Drive Me series.
Formula One racing romance is a new genre for me – I am a hockey, baseball, and football romance girl but loved reading about this new sport.
Josie Bancroft (FMC) is the marketing manager at McAllister Racing spending every weekend along side her girl bestie Ella Gold (Book 1 FMC), and Formula 1 drivers Blake Hollis (Book 1 MMC) and Theo Walker (MMC). Theo and Josie are friends and consider each other their best friends. They have traveled the world together because of the race events and have experienced so many great things together. Josie tries to help promote Theo and his image on social media but she spends more time trying to undo some of his unconventional content but that is who he is – boisterous and a true lady’s man. After one tequila fueled night where they hook up, things get very interesting.
Theo is trying to navigate his place in the racing world because his father was a very well known driver committed to the McAllister team for life. Theo’s father lost a battle with MS and Theo continues to live in the shadow of his legacy and wants to be his own person, his own driver identity. His contract is coming up for renewal and a new CEO has been named to the racing team. Just so happens that the CEO is the father of an ex girlfriend that did Theo wrong in the past and seems that the CEO is out to ruin Theo’s name in the racing world.
Meanwhile, Josie has just gotten out of yet another controlling relationship and has made the commitment to herself that this is the year just for her and to take time to realize who she really is. Hooking up with Theo Walker for anything more than friends with benefits is not on her BINGO card. But, our boy, Theo is anything but relentless in his pursuit of Josie (and her boobs – the names he comes up with the name her boobs is a riot). They agree that they will continue on the path of friends with benefits only because Josie isn’t ready for more.
Of course, Theo is not OK with that and turns up the romance level and does anything and everything for Josie to prove to her that he is more than just a friend. The slow build of them realizing they are falling for each other is the perfect pace throughout the book. The banter between them and the banter that Theo has with anyone is really well done.
The third act breakup in this one was a bit rough but was needed and really make you think about who Theo really was and how hurt Josie could be.
The side plot of Josie’s mom being a sex therapist and sending her “toys” all the time is so good. I can only imagine her horror every time she received a package from her mom.
There some excellent scenes of Theo dealing with the death of his father and the fact that his mom has moved on and some insights his mom had shared with him about his dad’s legacy.
I really liked this book for so many reasons.
✅ New Romance type – Formula 1
✅ Great pacing of the storyline
✅ Great side characters that have their own story in Book 1
✅ Great character building for the series
I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading Book 1 and then Book 3 when it is released.
Happy Reading friends! Peace ☮️

The Last One To Fall

Delia is the last mom standing and is trying so hard to keep everything together for her growing family. The brownstone still needs to be and completed by time. Dylan gives birth to her baby girl. Boss man steps in and makes a deal to Enzo that he can’t refuse. Literally cannot refuse because of boss man holding future jobs from Enzo‘s company.
Many of the interactions between Delia and Enzo end up in a screaming match and both of them being very frustrated with each other. Overtime, Enzo begins to see the type of person that Delia is when she doesn’t have her manhater vibe. Enzo comes to really like the softer side of Delia and recognizes that she has no one to do things just for her in her life. With this realization, Enzo goes all in and makes her private bathroom, one of luxury and a place where she can escape life and just relax. The scene where Enzo reveals her bathroom to her and they subsequently kiss is amazing. The line where Enzo says “he loves the idea that every time she is in the tub naked that she is thinking of him” is so swoony. Also, the way Enzo takes in the twins as his own and sets up the tour for them at Boston Dynamics (because he is a geek too!) is so heartwarming. I loved the scene where Delia meets his family and Nonna makes the comment that Delia has good birthing hips!
But the best part is the SERIES epilogue where we find out what happens to each individual family init. The brownstone included because it is truly a family member. Such a fun series to read!

This story is such a great testament to finding love after loss.
We are back in the crazy brownstone and this time it is Shayla’s turn to find love.
Shayla lost her husband to cancer and now finds herself living with her friends and raising her son. She is overly protective of what Kai eats as well as what he does - no unsafe sports!!
While at a hockey game, she is asked to check out a player that just got hurt on the ice because the other doctor is busy with another player. Shay heads into the locker room and finds her looking at the best backside she has ever seen - the man is buff and cut and quite cocky. He busts her ogling him as he tries to take a selfie. Rowan Parker is quite handsome and very forward with Shay. He is also adamant that Shay is his personal physical therapist. She tries to protest but loses the battle.
Their therapy sessions turn into make out sessions where Shay and Rowan start to fall for each other. It is important to Shay that their relationship remains quiet because of what it could do to her reputation as a physical therapist & she doesn’t want her son to know & have him hurt again if Rowan leaves.
The journey their relationship goes through is very heartwarming and so pure. Rowan may act very cocky but he loves deeply and is so great with Kai. He doesn’t want to lose them either.
The spicy 🌶️ scenes in this book are so good and Rowan is a very commanding lover!!
Another gem in this series!!

Rustic mountain range housing available upon request. I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life. This book was completely unexpected in a great way! The trope is not one that I tend to go for but love the author and both narrators.
The Mountain Man Wyatt is a known grump but has decided that he wants to become a dad ever since his dad passed away. He has been trying to find the right surrogate through an agency but cannot find someone compatible enough for him. He reluctantly turns over the search to his younger brother and his niece which means the entire town knows. His niece, Everly, heads into Denver to matters into her own hands when she literally runs into the woman that Wyatt needs - Trista - a plus size woman who cannot get the agency to take her because of her size and lack of being pregnant before. Everly is a mastermind and n the fact she thinks she has found “the one” for her uncle.
As Trista moves to Fletcher Mountain and starts to settle in, the insemination process is upon them. Albeit not the normal process and could cause some people to have icks about it, remember that this is a fictional book meant for entertainment purposes and not a medical journal.
The way Wyatt and Trista try to deny their increasing feeling for each other and Trista trying to work through her past childhood trauma of not being wanted and loved, these two grow closer and closer and the Fletcher family fully embraces Trista as their own. Wyatt also has to overcome his past trust issues with his brothers when all three of them pursued the same girl and ended up getting hurt by the whole situation. Thus, the reason he wanted to be a single dad - he didn’t want love and relationship.
The storyline has some hilarious moments and some very heartfelt moments involving Wyatt and Trista alone and then the entire family. It was a fun and lighthearted read.

I loved this book & love where this series is going. Four moms taking care of each other & their kids and finding love along the way.
Dylan’s personality is so fun and free and she is a great character to get to know. Courtney is so good as a counterpart to her - the level of care, attention and anxiety he shows about all the details is so good. His game day routine and knowing all the stats and being able to control his pitchers is so well written.
I have to admit that I thought Dylan meeting his upper crust family was going to go the opposite direction that it had. So glad they accepted Dylan & Liam for just who they are was so refreshing!
This was a great, fun, light listen! Cannot wait for the other stories. Also I love the fact that I am getting introduced to other authors with this series!

I am all for an angsty, banter filled, I hate my ex story but this one takes it to a whole other level!!
This book will ball you up, smooth you out and ball you up again as you are cryyng rivers!!
Madison Goldbloom loves flowers, loves bright patterned dresses, and loves to please people. She hates Chase Black for what he did to her - or what she thought he did to her!!
Chase Black hates laughing, hates happiness, hates love, dislikes his bro-cousin Julian and loathes his sister in law/ex fiancé Amber. He loves his mother, father, sister, and especially loves his niece Booger Face (aka Clementine). He loves to hate Madison Goldbloom because she drives him “Mad” because she actually mage him feel things for the first time in his life.
The journey these two take as they navigate a fake engagement that begins to feel real and watching Ronan, Chase’s dad, slowly lose his battle with cancer is so touching. Grab the tissue because you will cry but then immediately laugh at the sarcasm that this family loves.
For all the hoops that Maddie makes Chase go through and for all the denial Chase gives back to Maddie, I never saw the ending that this book gives. Chef’s kiss 💋 perfect!
And Sebastian York so a phenomenal job narrating Chase Black!!

Pregnant. Homeless. Broke. Not what I’d expected for my senior year in college. Neither was Rush Ramsey. We met the day I went camping and got stranded on the side of a gravel road. I didn’t believe in white knights who freed damsels in distress. Life had taught me that if something bad could happen, it probably would. The only person who would save me was me. But Rush Ramsey rescued me that day. He was sweet and kind and charming. He made a dark, starry night a little less lonely.

The third book in this series did not disappoint.
For Rush Ramsey, QB for the Wildcats, was just trying to escape the fight he had with his girlfriend. Faye was stranded in the woods with a flat tire and she was trying to escape the fact that her boyfriend and his best friend (that was a very affectionate girl) were spending the weekend together. She headed out to go camping but bad luck found her.
Rush fixed the tire and sent her in her way but she turned around to come back to tell him thank you. They won’t that evening watching the sunset and listening to the silence.
A month later and much drama for both of them, they find each other at the same bar. They spend that fateful night together, enjoying each other and feeling like they never have before.
Fast forward 30 days and Faye knows she is pregnant and knows that her one night with the QB has gotten her in this situation. But she doesn’t know what to do. Her past is not pretty and she is all alone in life just trying to get to graduation. Dusty, her boss and the only mother figure in her life, takes a very blunt approach to telling Rush about the pregnancy. Rush freaks out and disappears from his teammates for a day. Coach Ellis is there to help guide him through the initial shock and set a path forward for both.
Their story and struggles play out and it is a very endearing and heartwarming journey to self acceptance and letting someone in.
The way Faye remains strong and feisty in the face of the horrible upbringing ahead has is such a great story. The way that Rush’s parents accept the situation and accept Faye without judgement and with a lot of love is beautiful.
