About this listen

“A hilariously fresh and spicy rom-com that I couldn’t put down!”—Meghan Quinn, USA Today Bestselling Author

Help Wanted: Grumpy mountain man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting as the form of communication and nosy brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands in my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby-making dance—when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing and the home-insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter—I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

So good!! I love everything Amy writes and this is no exception! I ordered as soon as I was able and impatiently waited for it to hit. This book was funny, sweet, and spicy. I loved it. Erin and Teddy are the perfect duo! Can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Loved it!!

I’m an Amy Daws fan, I have read all of her books and I would gladly recommend any one of them, but this book, this book is my favorite ( well so far) I laughed out loud, I cried and I had warm fuzzies from beginning to end. The narration was amazing, the story was spicy and sweet and the relationship between the brothers was endearing and it was wonderful to catch up with some of the characters from previous books. The animals add a whole other dimension to this book and only make the story more endearing. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The animal lover in her was so relatable as well as coping with animals. I loved the plot which I wasn’t sure I would at first. Not for everyone but what it turned out being I think more people would love it too if given the chance. I’m also in Colorado so that was a cool connection as well.

Love this book

I read and listened to this gem so that I could highlight words and phrases and such that really caught my eye!

I really enjoyed going back and forth on this one!

Wyatt the quiet, broody grump who went to a surrogacy agency to find a surrogate only to strike out and for his niece, Everly, to step in.

She bumps into Trista on the sidewalk outside the agency and just had a feeling that she was the right person for the job and so much more.

Trista is bubbly, and upbeat and so happy all the time that she and Wyatt seem like total opposites but she has just enough baggage to make them more like yin and yang, the perfect pair versus total opposites.

This gem was narrated duet style by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. I so loved their performances too! So good!

Adorable!

This one had me all over the place. I was mad cause of how she was brought up. And her not wanting to repeat those actions. That’s when the buck stops with her. I hope everly gets her own book Amy??

Heartwarming and sad at the same time.

This was such a fun book, very entertaining and interesting. Would totally recommend and even listen to again. Not too spicy but still had a little spice in it. I really enjoyed the how the family was so involved in this situation and it reminded me of how it is possible for families to blend so easily in some situations (I know it’s a fictional story).

So Fun!

This was my first book from this author and I will definitely be back for more. The characters were really developed nicely. The story and characters were really funny. And the Unexpected spice was top tier. I’m ready for the next story.

Very funny.
