A story of resilience built out of tragedy. It’s a true story. I would have loved for the author to narrate this story

The story line is excellent but the virtual voice not so much. Would have loved an actual narrator

Excellent story. A real look at betrayal and forgiveness. It also makes you look at boundaries needed in friendship and marriage

I enjoyed the book but I couldn’t always figure out if they were addressing the past or the future
Sometimes I had to reread a section but it was an overall good book

The author is relatable as I myself grew up in the Washington DC metropolitan area. I too am an African American healthcare professional ( registered nurse). I’m definitely an advocate of the underserved populations and disturbed by the subpar care that is often provided to those of limited means.
