Whether it’s your first trip around the boundaries block or not, Nedra offers a goldmine of practical advice about what boundary-setting can look like. They won’t all apply of course, but they will likely inspire you while also reminding you of areas where there’s room for improvement in your relationships (including how you relate to yourself, your work, & your technology).

I just love Ruth Ware’s work. And Imogen Church’s narrations are superb! If you’re into this genre, it’s a must-read!

I haven't felt so inspired by a book in quite a while. This book is rich with simple, concrete concepts we can implement into our daily lives to become more of what we want to be. I will be revisiting this over the years to come. Loved it.

Barbara Kingsolver's way with words blows me away again and again - smart, funny, beautiful, poetic. And to create a story as rich as this incorporating the voices of 5 narrators(!)/perspectives? I don't know how she does it. I loved this. And the actual narration by Dean Robertson is simply fabulous. I highly recommend this.

This audio is a really wonderful balance of comedy and inspiration. I can't imagine that reading this one would be nearly as fun as listening to Chris tell his own stories and express his thoughts in this audio version. Prior to listening to this I wasn't familiar with Chris or his work. Loved this and highly recommend.

I think this is going to revolutionize my life. These concepts are not radical, but I haven't heard anything like this before. And they are presented and articulated with such clarity and in a way that underscores how making some small changes in how we listen and communicate could truly change many, many lives. I am grateful for this book. I'm already putting it to practice and it feels really good. Thank you!

Practical and vulnerable, rich with personal stories and compilations of well-curated data, Brene once again gives us a roadmap for how we can move towards a more enriched experience of life, this time specifically after we've taken a tumble. Rising strong addresses a seemingly minute portion of the "man in the arena" quote, but one that is a total game-changer. I loved this book. I will revisit it often. I am very grateful for her work.

If you seek inspiration in this New Year, or merely want to be reminded what it’s like to have a family at the helm of this country aligned with goodness and integrity, in want of a more unified America and a more unified world, do yourself a favor. And though (paper) books are great, hearing Michelle’s voice read her words is a comfort I can’t quite describe. See for yourself.
