Made me pay attention

It’s been sometime that I have had to really listen to a book. I had to concentrate on the reading to stay with the story line. This is a really good book and I don’t want to wreck it with a spoiler. I do wish there would be a sequel.
Great book. Worth the credit.

First off, I like this author. Plot twists, character development all are outstanding. I’ve read lots of sequels-some are good-some just okay, this was really good. I look forward to the next book in this series. This series ranks up there with the W.E.B Griffin military series.
To give you an idea on how I usually listen to books- it’s all day with 15 minute timers for auto stop at night. When I’m awaken from the snoring next to me, I turn it back on again. I didn’t do this with this book because I had to pay attention. Well written.
This is a really good book and I can’t wait (please tell me it will be soon) for the next one!

Let’s add “Reilly” to #102 of the most Commonly Mispronounced Words
Reviewed: 01-11-24
OMG who produced this book and missed the horribly mispronounced words? The producer and narrator should give back their salary and any residual they get from the mangling of the many words in this wonderful book.
I went back and purchased the unabridged version and found myself correcting the chronic mispronunciation of words. What a way to ruin a great book. I am so glad I read the book myself.
Pass on purchasing this book.

I feel cheated
Reviewed: 12-03-23
I really love the Pike Logan series and typically skip the .5 books because they aren’t long enough, but I bought this one because I wanted to hear the character development of Amena. I am so disappointed that this novelette really didn’t develop Amena and that the time included a portion of Hunter Killer. I didn’t see that in the advertised plot line. I feel gypped.

I must admit, I read the reviews before purchasing the book. I have no one to blame but myself.
Good story but I don’t buy Sandra Brown books to read about sex. Disappointed. I don’t know if the inclusion of the worthless sex scenes were at the prompting of the editor or someone else- but they were not needed. Leave them out next time.

You know, horrible things happen to people. Others look at the horrible unknown incidents and make judgments. It’s only when the entire situation comes out that things make sense -for good or for bad. That’s this book in a nutshell.
I looked for more books written by S. F. Kosa as soon as I finished listening to the book.
