Henry Bins is only awake one hour a day. Can you imagine only being awake for one hour each day? Can you imagine having to cram your entire existence into sixty measly minutes? Two minutes to shower. Three minutes to eat. Five minutes to watch TV. And in that 3600 seconds you have awake, imagine that you have to figure out...Who murdered the woman across the street?

This showed up in my suggestions and looked kind of interesting and different...for me the stories were very Character driven...Henry and Ingrid are great and all but Lassie and Murdoch steal the show...Anyway if you are looking for a new kind of thriller hero I'm sure Henry Bins and crew will fit the bill! Hoping there is at least one more book in the offing!

I'm not sure if alot of guys are reading this as it seems more geared to a female audience but I really enjoyed the story...I have known personal abuse in my own childhood though it has been a long time since I have thought of myself as a survivor or victim much like Vanessa...I think that is why I was drawn to the story ...The author takes a tough topic and brings it to life...again I really enjoyed the story!

For generations, the solar system—Mars, the Moon, the Asteroid Belt—was humanity's great frontier. Until now. The alien artifact working through its program under the clouds of Venus has appeared in Uranus's orbit, where it has built a massive gate that leads to a starless dark. Jim Holden and the crew of the Rocinante are part of a vast flotilla of scientific and military ships going out to examine the artifact. But behind the scenes, a complex plot is unfolding, with the destruction of Holden at its core.
