I learned a great deal about the eyes. Some of the advice I didn’t really agree with based on personal experience, but it did have helpful advice. I would like to know if the therapy is available internationally.

I could identify with all of the characters, the narrator’s voice was excellent. I had read the book many years ago and got much more from it this time.

Story
Since their first publication in 1812, Grimm's Fairy Tales have proven to be an enduring feature of Western literature. The stories have been translated into over 100 languages worldwide, and their influence has cast its spell on many film makers, as well. The stories were collected from traditional storytellers from around Germany, usually women, and the motivation to collect them grew out of the wave of romantic nationalism of the early 19th century.

useful but unrealistic
Reviewed: 01-27-22
I got a lot of very useful information from this book. Unfortunately, I feel as if the author is out of touch with the reality of most people's lives. The target audience for this book are housewives married to bankers or lawyers, who have loads of free time and money and can carry out her advice. Eating only organic food alone costs a fortune, not to mention the price and inconvenience involved in changing all the cookware in your house. On the good side she does provide a great deal of useful nutritional information, and explains in detail why certain foods are good for you, or bad for you.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky is a titanic figure among the world's great authors, and The Brothers Karamazov is often hailed as his finest novel. A masterpiece on many levels, it transcends the boundaries of a gripping murder mystery to become a moving account of the battle between love and hate, faith and despair, compassion and cruelty, good and evil.

The novel was well structured and the characters and story interesting. I did though find some of the accounts of cruelty hard to take, and there were a couple places where I lost the thread of the story.

Good narration, annoying protagonist
Reviewed: 06-23-21
The narration was very good, with various characters voiced by suitable voice actors who captured their backgrounds and personalities well. Unfortunately, I found the protagonist's constant humblebraging and name dropping unbearably arrogant. I found it quite annoying that he took credit for so many big the great innovations and works of art accross history. He cheapens the famous people's greatness by making it seem these things were all his ideas.
