Story
Henry Winkler, launched into prominence as “The Fonz” in the beloved Happy Days, has transcended the role that made him who he is. Brilliant, funny, and widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood (though he would be the first to tell you that it’s simply not the case, he’s really just grateful to be here), Henry shares in this achingly vulnerable memoir the disheartening truth of his childhood, the difficulties of a life with severe dyslexia, the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own, and the path forward once your wildest dream seems behind you.

My greatest thrill of this reading is the personal growth of the author especially his conquest of his childhood trauma. Thank you Henry for the sacrifices you made to bring this book to us readers. I look forward to an epilogue.

While I enjoyed the comfort, wealth, and security of the US for the first 2/3 if my life, I am now enjoying the rewards. of a life of liesure for the final 1/3 of my life here in Central America. I can leave the travel and driving to Brad and his great commentary

Story
From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned. In clear, taut prose, Agassi evokes his loyal brother, his wise coach, his gentle trainer, all the people who help him regain his balance and find love at last with Stefanie Graf.

How would you respond if asked to do something you knew was impossible? Something so difficult, so crazy, so beyond your ability that it didn’t even make sense. You’d dismiss it, forget about it, and act like you were never asked, right? But what if it were God asking? What if you were absolutely sure that you had just heard God speak? This is that story. It is the story of ultimate Christian Evangelism. It is the story of life-changing adventure driven by a desire to share the gospel.

WHAT A FELLOWSHIP WHAT A JOY DIVINE LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS
Reviewed: 06-01-24
This is the hymn that enveloped me as I finished hearing Rick telling of his and Jane’s walk across USA. I am a lifelong walker and hiker and am familiar with the limitations of the gear available for any 100 miles per week walk. Footwear and outerwear haven’t been made that can be 100% reliable. So many of your encounters with people you met on the walk were heartwarming and you were able to transmit to the listener the emotion of the moment. Thank you for obeying God’s call to make this walk!

"What should we have for dinner?" To one degree or another, this simple question assails any creature faced with a wide choice of things to eat. Anthropologists call it the omnivore's dilemma. Choosing from among the countless potential foods nature offers, humans have had to learn what is safe, and what isn't. Today, as America confronts what can only be described as a national eating disorder, the omnivore's dilemma has returned with an atavistic vengeance.

Story
Before John Deere, Ford, and International Harvester became icons of American business, they were competitors in a forgotten battle for the farm. By the turn of the 20th century, four million people had left rural America and moved to cities. With the tractor, a shrinking farm population could still feed a growing world. Tractor Wars is the untold story of industry stalwarts and disruptors, inventors, and administrators racing to invent modern agriculture - a power farming revolution that would usher in a whole new world.

Story
No one wants to overeat. And certainly no one wants to overeat for years, become overweight, and end up with a high risk of diabetes or heart disease--yet two thirds of Americans do precisely that. Even though we know better, we often eat too much. Why does our behavior betray our own intentions to be lean and healthy? The problem, argues obesity and neuroscience researcher Stephan J. Guyenet, is not necessarily a lack of willpower or an incorrect understanding of what to eat.
