For those who's fear of death haunts/taints their joy of life, their thrill of being in this game, a suggested solution: get off your knees.
David Icke has been sounding the alarm for decades, just now is his voice gaining widespread audience and understanding minds.
When you're ready to let go of pretense, expose your mind to the game afoot.

With the singular call to just start talking to rouse us from the encroaching stupor, Saad does an excellent job of mixing all of his impressive experiences into a cohesive support for the need.
Start talking or be forever silenced.

Basic truths of life distilled by the unforgiving crucible of reality.
Very little is left to pry beneath--- and that we should always do--- but the gold which sits glimmering in the pan is more costly, more valuable than the usual words can serve.

Goggins is the result of what we imagine ourselves capable of when pushed to the very zenith of effort, willing to descend to the absolute nadir of being.
(I am looking forward to his streamlined version of himself when expletives are no longer necessary.)
It is astounding to consider he worked out in the laboratory of self-mastery what philosophers, psychologists and shaman only glean from years swimming in probity of thought: that man (when ground finely in the crucible of unbridled, unflinching life) consists of ineffable material, resulting in ceaseless wonder... sadly, nearly never noticed.

Sometimes Freud reaches too far, others not near enough.
Although his other work has been immensely articulate and nuanced, some parts of this one felt half-baked or cast-off--- as though these snippets were found separately and haphazardly fashioned together.
It's painful to critique such a brilliant and disciplined mind, one whose left shoe would remain mostly empty were I to step into it, but this one overall left me with a sense of less than rather than overflowing.
It has some decidedly insightful parts, I must say, but just not to the same degree of his other more robust and flourished works.

While it is clear Becker greatly admired Otto Rank--- at times his references to Rank's work borders on advertisement--- his ability to fuse the findings of his and other notable pioneers work is incredibly insightful and thought provoking.
The depth of the book is found in the simplicity Becker brings to even the most complicated ideas.
Better for having read it.

Very well articulated, although I would have preferred to hear all foreign passages translated into English, instead of only most of them.
Can't remember what chapter it was, but found it highly interesting to hear the narrator practice a portion of the book several times attempting to get the words right: put a personal insight onto his otherwise highly polished renderings.
This analysis on the subject matter holds sway even all this time after it's first release.
Very difficult ground to cover in the unraveling of the self; difficult to maintain one's grasp of self in light of the necessary assault.
Although it makes one wish to run and hide, sticking it out to the final portion is required for one's sound mental health.
