About this listen

“Read this book, strengthen your resolve, and help us all return to reason.” —JORDAN PETERSON

There’s a war against truth … and if we don’t win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty.

The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism have become endangered by a series of viral forces in our society today. Renowned host of the popular YouTube show The Saad Truth, Dr. Gad Saad exposes how an epidemic of idea pathogens are spreading like a virus and killing common sense in the West.

Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic first-hand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society and how these have created serious consequences that must be remedied—before it’s too late.

Activate Your Inner Honey Badger!

Have been familiar with and a fan of Dr. Saad for a while, but this magnum opus exceeded even my high expectations. He manages to walk the necessary line between presenting intellectual ideas with necessary academic rigor, while speaking plainly. No easy feat. As well, he maintains his trademark rapier satire whenever possible. The book is both informative and inspiring! Quite frankly, five stars seems a little short! #BeAHoneyBadger

Great mind opening read.

No offense to the Narrator, I wish Gad himself could've read this book. or at least given us the option to.

Other than that this book was an amazing thought provoking, mind opening, and mind bending read. I %100 recommend this!

Outstanding!

Ordinarily I do not leave reviews on any literary or auditory consumption. This book however merits a full compliment! Gad’s refreshing and blunt view of what he calls “the parasitic mind“ is spot on and verbalized in a manner easily consumable in layman’s terms. He doesn’t pander to the left or the right or “woke” culture. Well done Dr Saad, you have a new fan who’s willing to speak his mind.

A thought provoking masterpiece!

This book encaputlates the dangers of our current political climate within universities with reason, logic, and evidence. As any scientific book, discussion, theorem, etc. should!

An Important for Our Time and Any Time

I cannot say enough good things about this book. Gad Saad has an amazingly refreshing, pragmatic perspective on the world we live in and what is influencing much of what we're seeing in modern society. A must-have for the critical thinking and the party who takes umbrage with group think.

I couldn't stop listening.

Bravo. Finally intelligently laid out arguments against the insanity that has been taking over our society.
