But when he learns that in fact she was murdered, he devotes himself to hunting down her killers. Most of his life he had thought of himself as a decent man. But now he's so consumed with thoughts of retribution that he questions whether he will take that last step and enact the vengeance he longs for.

This is a horrible book. It’s depressing. Honestly I don’t know why I finished it. Killing someone deliberately is wrong anytime. The fact that this man justifies it is sad. Revenge is not satisfying. I’m sorry I finished it.

Why doesn't Audible let you return books anymore? This book is horrible. I'm bored to tears and I have 10 more hours left to read. I don't know if I will make it. It is awful! Next time I will download from the library since you can't return books.

I don’t know what I expected. I think more of a mystery. This is pure science fiction though. I also feel like I’ve heard this same story before. Is this a rewrite? I checked the publication date twice. I would have returned it but couldn’t so I finished the book.

I don't usually take the time to write a review. However, this book was so interesting. Although it is not a history book, I feel like I learned something about the Vietnam War that I wasn't aware of. The book held my attention and I looked for time to listen to it. It is a good story. I have been recommending it to my friends who are readers.
