Loving it!

Loving the humor and the snarky dialog! They probably divide opinions quite heavily, but I'm all for it. There were few spots with just blatant repetition within a chapter. Same stuff told twice, just a tiiny bit differently. Performance was good for the most part. Sometimes characters felt like they were blending together and were hard to tell apart, but that wasn't a major issue. Aside from those blunders, I'm loving the series!

Loved it beyond word! The story telling is so so good, as always, and imho has gotten even better with every book. And once again, a stellar performance from Travis Baldree. He really brings the characters to life.

I'll just leave it at that so that I don't go and spoil anything in my excitement. :D

Loved every second of it. ties a lot of thing together and meshes magnificently with the original series! Ah, the closure is liberating.

Fun fantasy story, except the mini-musicals...

An overall enjoyable and fun story, but the constant "musicals" make me cringe every time, and rips me out of my enjoyment completely.

There have been books that try to explain the "game systems" as laws of nature, but I've found most of them quite lacking in imagination. This book's way of doing it to me, feels like on a whole other level.

That being said, I sometimes found tha narrative to be a bit hard to follow. A few times I found myself flabbergasted with a feeling that I had somehow missed a major part of the story, having to rewind a bit. A minor issue for sure, but still.

Enjoyable, but "simple"

I'm enjoying the story with it's game like world and magic system, but these books seem to revolve around the god damn word "simple". Practically every other thing is described as either "simple" or "not simple". Come on, there would be myriad of other adjectives and ways that could be used to describe most of the scenes and objects, and that's the only one the author could come up with? Other than that, it's been a funny and decent LitRPG series.

Here's hoping that the author widens his vocabulary a bit in the future.

Full of lines and scenes that were basically straight from all the virgin neck-beard nice-guy stereotype memes you could imagine. Did not enjoy all that much.

Full of uninteresting pop culture references, some better placed than others. There is so much of it, that it ruins the whole book for me.

The story is like any other reborn-in-another-world, or "isekai" power fantasy with some it's own flawor.

Really enjoy how the kinda classic "hero chosen by the gods" is turned upside down with these books. Love the concept of keepers and the mystery of why the system is the way it is.

Keep up the good work!
