I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. We talked and laughed, and something clicked. Fate took over and the plane was grounded, and we had an unexpected stopover for the night. With no plans, we made our own.

I was in a book slump for a bit-this brought me right out of it! From angsty characters to laugh out loud jabs to intrigue! And the narration- I listened to hundreds and this is top 10 for sure!! Loved it at every twist and turn!

Love the series -I’m sure the story is as good as others and will read-FMC narration great as usual (Brentmoor) perfect-but the MC narrator sounds like he is pain -very distracting) made it a few chapters and need to DNF the audible…

So love author, love story and everything about the characters. I should have read this one-female narration, perfection! She was even good at the male character! I’m sorry the male narrator -the surprised tone in every sentence is just too much I almost DNF’d this one because of it - female narrator should have read the whole thing! Read this one Bella Mathews story here does not disappoint with this story!

Finally out of a reading/listening slump! Everything about this story, characters, tropes, and narration was right on point. I’m super tough on narration but this one hit the mark for sure and character development-tropes was angsty and fun -love this couple! Can’t wait to read the next in series-keep then coming!

First love this author and all the series -was so excited for this one….
Second the narration for both male and female characters was really great (I listen to hundreds and am super picky about this and so good!)
And not so good third…what is up with storyline -I am not opposed to FMC second career but makes no sense, immature storyline-very unbelievable - this is not a rom com but laughed a lot- not in a good way -and lots of eye rolling. It had a lot of potential but stripping and so much regret to send your parents on a $40,0000 vacation it was all too funny.

Love the story and banter and refreshing change of characters of late. Male narration-chefs kiss all day-every day if Teddy Hamilton is delivering it! Female narration- maybe sounds a little older than character? Not completely sure why I didn’t love? Overall great listen!
