Story
The usual result of a human taking a runaway semitruck head-on is a very sudden, very fast track to the pearly gates. But for one newly noncorporeal man, there's another option: become a dungeon. Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

This book is ok for the most part.
Things i dont like about it
1. The story is really PG-7 it tries way to hard to evade death to the point it seems annoying to listen too.
2. The MC dont have any self preservation skills to the point where he gives himself civil rights violations. Why do you have secrets and tell everyone about the secrets? Like wtf?
3. Boss fights are to one sided. It like they attack and the boss just sit there and takes it.
4. The whole story is read like a diary so most of everything seems to be past tense. There is no suspense. That all everything in between is cool tho

Dragons, catgirls, guns, and magic—oh, and the ability to stop time. What more could a modern gal want? Well... If my past would stay locked in a dark corner back on Earth, that'd be nice. Right, there was that one other thing: finding a way home before the world ends. But hey, that's what my mom would call the last step in your five-year plan. The first? Play with magic.

This is the worst of all the good books i ever listen to. The MC feels like two different characters most of the time like the author is telling us that the MC has a broken leg but she doing things that the MC need two legs to do. Also the MC flight or fight response is so bad. The MC fight to flight. Instead of dealing with the problem right then and there while dying the mc try to escape by not killing the person trying to kill them. Hope the other books are better.

Only a few weeks have passed since the Battle of Burrova, and Edward and his friends are busier than ever improving the Haunt and protecting the surviving villagers. Sadly, time is a scarce commodity in the world of Ivalis. Soon enough, Ed finds himself thrown in conflict against the man behind the mindbrood’s attack, a man who is seemingly capable of shrugging off mortal wounds and who is willing to unleash a devastating plague of undead against the Haunt and everyone inside.

Why? Why? Why?
This is the questions you will be asking the main character every time he makes a decision. Like wtf?
Writing a Mc that dont want to help the evil god but accepts every quest from the evil god for the simplest reasons is just dumb ass writing.
The author should be ashamed of themselves.
And everybody who gave this story anything over 3 stars are yall even listening to the story plot?

Story
The strangest thing about Annie's new reality isn't that she's now in the body of a seven-year-old child, the beloved Lillith, feared dead by her family after a particularly nasty bout of pneumonia. It's that she's constantly having to conceal her adult intellect, which is not only advanced but otherworldly. Sure, being a young woman and a grad student in twenty-first-century America had its challenges, but this life as Lillith presents even tougher obstacles. She must tread carefully to conceal her vast knowledge of biology, math, physics, and . . . being an adult.

Story
Ben clocked in and clocked out, living a dreary life until a rip of energy caught his attention. Of course, interfering with the spell proved disastrous and he's sucked into a portal. On Semintor, the fantastical exists alongside wondrous magic. Ben arrives with a massive advantage thanks to his tinkering with the portal that got him there: his Arcana—his ability to cast powerful magic—are downright godly. The man is capable of casting group heals, buffing all sorts of attributes, and more, making him a highly sought after spellcaster, a rare dedicated supporting healer.

Mc must has a mental disorder
Reviewed: 01-17-25
Same old fake morality problem. Mc became a puppet in the later book. No back done. Selflessness in on 100. Negotiations is just him either doing it or not doing it but obviously, he accepts every quest give it to him, no extra compensation for threats, violence, or injury. Why don’t authors realize this does not make a good character make it seem like your MC is a slave and a dumbass.

The mc do not react to threats, disrespect and, violence. Makes the mc feel like he has a mental disorder. The mc flows through the story like a dumbass fearful of everything but accepting every quest for no reason when he can just walk away. Put his whole team in danger to many times by this.

How not to write a MC
Reviewed: 10-22-24
Just every time the MC is focused on the story goes downhill. Make weird decisions like : oh you a mass murderer and trying to kill me? But you are being forced to kill me. And you would freely kill me if you wasn’t scared of me. Let me save your life!

Once the MC meet the humans it goes downhill fast. The MC make questionable decisions. The writer changes the reasons the MC hate a mass murderer 3 times so they can work together. Have the MC tell all his own secrets. The MC quickly becomes a pawn in his own story. This story should be called Goblins
