About this listen

Through hellish training, Arc became a hero—reaching the pinnacle of strength in the world of Arlas.

Arc was an ordinary young woman from Earth when she was summoned to an icy hell where she fought for her survival in the name of training to become a hero.

Now, after defeating the Overlord itself and achieving the status of hero, she leaves with the goal of enjoying her freedom. She arrives at Arlas, a fantasy world with magic and monsters, a world with numbers, tiers, and classes, a world governed by the System that summoned her.

She is not alone. There are other heroes, masters of their element, warped individuals who have escaped their own hell. And they have their own agenda, from taking over the world to even killing other heroes.

But Arc isn't any hero; she's the one who mastered the element of frost, the element of ice that can even freeze the sense of time itself. And when confronted with an incomprehensible task of broken letters—to fulfill her duties as a hero for the broken System—she makes her decision.

To live a normal life, fight whoever comes her way, and ignore whatever the delusional System says. As for the heroes? She will fight them, too, if they dare to stand in her way.

Join Arc as she explores the world of Arlas, a place dominated by the same System that summoned her in the first place, a world with classes, levels, and magic. Watch her explore the world and take on terrifying foes with her ice abilities that can freeze anything. This isekai series features a badass overpowered main character and intriguing worldbuilding. Arc's story has great character moments and exciting and satisfying battles with monsters and other heroes alike.

Story???

This feels a bit trampled, like the story has been told before and is told over and over again in this story.
I like a good OPMC, but what's the point of this story? There doesn't feel like there's enough background information to really be invested in the world she's in or the other characters. Hmmm... I'm going to have to think on this one a bit before I decide if I want to read the next one.

Fast paced, could use a little bit more character development as well as RPG elements.

First of all, the narrator is excellent. Good vocal characteristics, no siblings, no mashing of words. The story could’ve used a little bit of editing, but the narrator did the best with what she had. The book is good, I don’t know why I enjoyed it so much because there are story elements missing. We need to know a little bit more about the MC and how she came to be and was picked for this line of work. Because of these missing story elements the book starts off fast, it just drops you into the pot. is basically about two friends getting together learning about each other, a coming of age story. the MC just wants a quiet life, but can’t have one. A psychic is a lonely, noble girl who has no friends. The book has good, touching elements of friendship and character development. MC comes off as a bit stilted and socially awkward, which seems to be the trend in a lot of these books lately. I particularly like the book because the character. is OP I can basically do whatever she wants. It doesn’t mean that she can’t get beaten and get hurt, but she always comes out on top, my type of book. if you like a book with a female OP protagonist, don’t be a sexist, read this book. You will enjoy it.

engaging and paced well

I really like the stories with over powered protagonist and being a woman makes it better in my opinion especially with other stories having op men with harems being pretty common and prolific. This was a great start to this series and I can't wait to get the next book

An enjoyable fun op character story

When it comes to op character stories, is this one of the best story out there, probably not but is still entertaining and creates an enjoyable enough world where I am excited to see more.

I think the weakest aspect that prevent me from giving this a five is just the noble friend Arc makes not being the best in my opinion. I think partially because she is a bit spoil when it comes to wanting to keep being a noble even if it cost them their lives. I do think there is a good character arc there that is happening and can appreciate where they going with it, but I am more interested in Arc and the Dragon. Also really annoy at everybody reaction being impossible all the time aside. Like sure it make sense for people who are lied to about Arc rank, and people who can see her rank to be surprised by how strong she is, but otherwise people acting like its impossible to be strong in this world.

Putting those nitpick away, Arc is a delightful character, the action are fun and the world just has me invested and can't wait for more.

Generic Isekai

Not really anything new. Generic storyline for the most part. Op Mc, generic system, the characters are a little bland.

Cill low stakes read

It’s a chill read the hero is overpowered in most scenarios that’s it’s actually funny. In the beginning couldn’t stop smiling at the absurdity of the power imbalance. Making it a pretty low stakes read very entertaining, and enjoyable.

Not to mention the top tier voice acting.
