About this listen

The man I hate lives next door.

He must have just moved in, even though I never saw the moving truck. He's just as arrogant as I remember, mowing the lawn without a shirt and grinning like an idiot. When he catches me staring at him through the window, he winks. So cocky. He flirts with me like he never broke my heart.

And then he tells me something that I just can't believe. We're married.

Supposed you had permanent amnesia...

Well that’s what’s happened to Bree...she is stuck in the past after an accident. She doesn’t remember that she’s forgiven her boyfriend for cheating on her, she doesn’t remember that she’s married to him. Bree doesn’t remember that her sister divorced her douche husband, or that her sister, Cypress & 2 other friends are her business partners in the restaurant business. She’s living a ‘Grounding Day’ for 3yrs. Everyone is telling Cypress to move on since the doctors have given up on Bree ever regaining her memory. Cypress loves his wife & refuses to believe...
OMG...this.book! Chocked full of emotions! I was a blubbering mess at some points. Then when I think that there’s an HEA...its a trilogy! I need the next book on audio...stat!!!
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.

I need the rest

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I need the others. The narration was very good, this story reminds me of the movie 50 First Dates but better because there are some memories coming back to Bree, she remembers her friend and is reestablishing a relationship with them and trying to be friends with the husband she didn't know she had or why she would marry him after their breakup. Cypress is patient and willing to take whatever Bree will give him, even if it is a hookup. He has become friends with all the people who hated him including Bree's sister Amy and is very protective of Amy.

My only disappointment was that I cannot continue the story of Bree and Cypress or Amy and Ace because it doesn't look like the series is complete. I don't usually listen to books that are not in a complete series because of this very reason I need more so that I can be disappointed that the story has ended. For me it has only just begun. I am looking forward to the rest of the series which I hope is coming soon. You'll enjoy this book and the narration.

My Two Pennies

Lia Langola and Michael Ferraiuolo are a great duo for this story, I loved hearing the passion behind it all. You feel what the characters are feeling so intensely and that only happens when the narrators pour their heart into their work. This story reminds me of the movie 50 First Dates the difference is that I actually enjoyed this book and the storyline. Bree & Cypress had me up and down constantly emotionally when it came to their relationship. Unforeseen circumstance happened to Bree and yes Cypress had done something that is just undeniably wrong but he owned up to it and has proven himself over and over again that he is sorry. There are moments where I’m so frustratingly mad at Bree but need to remember that if I were in her place I’d probably have the same reaction. I’m totally #TeamCyrpess within the first few chapters and remain there throughout the story. I literally had my jaw dropping and even said a “WHAT?!” out loud multiple times in this book. I’m curious as to what happens next for everyone because there’s so much more then just Bree & Cypress’s story going on. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

NOOOOOOO!

NOOOOOO! that's what I said out loud at the end of the book! it was great! it reminded me of fifty first dates. one of my favorite movies. but it has a devilish spin on it. I loved it and I didn't want it to end! it was so great, the writing, the characters, the narrating were all fantastic! I would totally recommend it to everyone over the age of 18!

great book

I had a hard time the first couple chapters understanding what was going on. Once I understood it turned out to be a great book. The narrator's were fantastic, they had many characters to differentiate between.

A story of loyalty, love and perseverance

This is a story I really enjoyed. It comes with a big plot twist I wasn't expecting which made the attitude I felt towards a few of the characters completely flip and am now rooting for. This is a symphony of emotions where the characters ebb and flow like the tide of their surroundings, but what remains is loyalty, devotion, friendship and love. Part 1 ends with hope and I want to find out in the next audio how the paths of the 5 friends and partners will turn out.

I enjoyed Lia as a narrator. The voices were clean and distinct, although I wish there was a tiny bit more of a difference between the sisters as I didn't remember who's point of view was being addressed a couple of times. Editing was clean and the sound was even which was nice not having to adjust volume between chapters. I did have an issue with Michael's narration. He only did two chapters and found it odd that for a sideline character in this 1st book that he had his own narrator for his point of view. Akso, because the majority of the book was narrated by Lia, I already had the male characters persons in my head, and when he read, it threw me out of the story. I kept picturing slurry Sylvester Stallone in a robe. His voice was too deep for the characters; especially for Cyrus.

All in all, I'm looking forward to book 2!

Michael &Lia narrating, U know its gonna be great!

well this was heartbreakingly good! E.L. Todd gut punches you right from the beginning and trust me you can't just let it go.why? because you can't. this story was sooo good. I love it! it drew alot of feelings from me. Narration: Perfect. thats it. that's the outcome when you have Lia and Michael. These 2 narrators are always so refreshing to listening to for me because even though they are my favorites the books I listen to that they narrate are always so different. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Five Enthusiastic Stars For This Awesome Romance!

Bree thought she'd found her soulmate, but instead found heartache when she walked in on her boyfriend Cypress with another woman. A year later Bree thinks she's finally moved on, but then Cypress walks out of the house next door and announces that he's her new neighbor.

I don't want to spoil the story for anyone, so I won't go any further. I just have to say I 100% recommend this one. If you don't like reading books about cheating partners and believe 'once a cheater, always a cheater', I'd steer clear of this book. If you believe that people can change and redeem themselves, you're going to love this one. I've always been a member of the first group, but this author converted me! The stark difference between how Bree and Amelia view Cypress shows just how much he's changed.

I think Bree and Cypress have potential to be great together, based on some of their good days. I loved how the author made each morning different, and it never seemed repetitive. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the series!

Although Bree and Cypress do spend a lot of the book arguing, Lia Langola brought a vulnerability into Bree's voice that made her likable. I think if I had read this book, I might have been irritated with Bree rehashing the same mistake. But the narrator's voice made me remember her heartache. I loved her voice for Bree and Cypress, and her narration pulled me into the story. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Great story!

400 Kisses was a very enjoyable story. This is a story of five friends but the story mainly focus on Bree and Cypress. Cypress is trying to convince Bree that they belong together, she having to have lost parts of her memory. Lia Langola and Michael Ferraiuolo does a wonderful job with the narration. My only complaint is that it ends in a cliffhanger.

A copy was received for an honest opinion.

An amazing, heartwrenching story

Brie and Cypress have had too many ups and downs to think a relationship between them could work. Until it is revealed that Brie has no ability to remember and is stuck at a time when she was most vulnerable. Cypress takes all she gives him and hopes for that one good day. His love is a love all women wish her man would have. Even though Brie's life has basically stood still, everyone else has moved forward. Her friends support her and have the same conversations every day with her, but even her sister has grown tired of it. Cypress still stood by her side, yearning for a good day that may or may not come.

This is such a heartwrenching story. I found myself hoping that Cypress could shake Brie out of her amnesia. I hoped she could forgive him and love him as he loved her. By the end of the story, they became my friends and I needed to hear more. I could not put this story down.

Lia Langola and Michael Ferraiuolo are a wonderful narrating team. They both narrate with such emotion that the story becomes a movie in your mind. Ms Langola narrates with such emotion that every feeling, thought or word a character speaks or feels touches the listener. She brings the characters to life. I felt more like part of the story than just a listener. Mr Ferraiuolo narrates with the same emotion. He husky voice is perfect for the male characters. Mr Ferraiuolo brings out the best and worst of the male characters to make them come to life to the listener. He is a wonderful compliment to Ms Langola. I really enjoy this narrating team and would love is the rest of the series is narrated by them.
