A Christmas to Love You

Each chapter is a new POV I realized as I was listening its part of a series so there were characters mentions that I would assume have their own books, and it would make more sense then. I thought it was going to be more christmassy. Still liked it.

Enjoyed the narration.

Consider this Book 4 1/2

I read this last in the series when it really should be marked as 4 1/2. Would have made more sense but loved that this entire series was free!!!

Nice quick listen

This is a nice quick listen with a little recap from the whole cast of characters. It's short and a bit steamy and sweet with good narration but you probably want to listen to this after book 4.

loved it

Loved it. The narrator did a great job portraying each character in the book! It grabs you and allows you to feel what the characters themselves are feeling and going through.

Cliffhanger

Definitely wanted and expected more. The writer got what she wanted, I’ll be listening to the next book.

Tidbits of all the characters

Definitely a cliffhanger, I didn’t listen to this series in order, now I have to listen ‘Hard to Love You’. The ones I’ve heard already I enjoyed with all kinds of feels and drama.

Confusing And Cliffhanger

I know most Christmas stories are short and sometimes are part of a series but I felt lost through most of this one. There are references to things that have happened in the past but not enough to clue the reader in. Then it leaves you completely hanging in the end. Not what I want in a holiday read. The narrator does a good job with all the different voices.

Great audible of an old favorite

If you could sum up A Christmas to Love You in three words, what would they be?

Remember your love

What other book might you compare A Christmas to Love You to and why?

Any of the Love Series. A Christmas to Love You isn't really a Christmas story it's more of a seqway into a spinoff and the remaining Cahill story. It doesn't give you a glimpse into the parents love story.

Which character – as performed by Jessica Almasy – was your favorite?

Any. She did a great job with tone for all the different females within this story. She didn't make the men seem overly cheesy in a "man voice" and her take on the kids was spot on. Her voice was energetic, vibrant, and clear. I enjoyed listening to her far more than I did other performances of this same series.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I am a true fan of Megan Smith's story, however I never really quite understood the exact purpose of this novella. It's not Christmas, it's not a full book, it's kind a just a glimpse foreshadowing what is to come, but also catching back to up these characters. It is a great novella to pull you back to the family and cause readers to want more from each Cahill and their significant other

It’s all cursing and mediocre sex

There’s so much cursing and sex… but it’s really mediocre, vanilla, boring sex. I was expecting a cute Christmas book.
