Ms. Blake’s country romance is wonderful with twists and turns that were not expected. The synopsis is simplified and does leave out some interesting facts. For example, Kat and DJ’s past is more than what is told in the summary and it gives the book more depth and drama. Lula Larkin did an excellent job narrating the book. I definitely recommend this book!

A good story line, both women are as stubborn as all get out, but Kat needed to let go & maybe she & DJ could have gotten together sooner & well, DJ... She could have been a bit more receptive as well to find a solution for her and Kat. Kat keeps pushing Danni away, but she truly loved the woman & every time DJ TRIED Kat pushed her away want was DJ TO DO? Well leave it to little sister to force them together ❤

The supposed heroine of the story has controlling, & abusive tendencies.

If you know the slightest thing about ranching and/or the western lifestyle, this will make you sick to your stomach or hysterical laughing. It’s horribly bad.

People don’t talk or act like this anywhere but in cartoonish westerns.

The story wasn’t a bad idea, but the execution was downright horrible.
