About this listen

Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing—in each other's arms.

Performed by Colleen Delany, Natalie Van Sistine, Jon Vertullo, Aure Nash, Renee Dorian, Anthony Palmini, Melody Muze, Nora Achrati, Matthew Bassett, Shawn K. Jain, Wyn Delano, Danny Gavigan, Karenna Foley, Lucy Symons, David Jourdan, Amanda Forstrom, Gabriel Michael, Patrick Boylan, Michael John Casey, Laura C. Harris, Julienne Irons, Henry W. Kramer, Dan Delgado, Andrew James Spooner, and Carolyn Kashner.

It’s taken me forever to finally listen to this book bc I’ve been a staunch hater of Nesta since ACOTAR but that’s all changed. This may have won spot two (behind book 2 of my favorite in the series.)

The audio production was wonderful (even if the winnowing sounds like they pulled the sound straight from The Jetsons, lol).

10/10 recommend

This book changed my opinion of Nesta

First of all, the book is obviously amazing! The story line is brilliant, the redemption arc is heart-warming, the spice is great, and the voice actors are all phenomenal ❤️ The quality of the sound effects and narrator are top notch!

I’m speechless!

I’ve never listened to graphic audio but I was so captured I couldn’t stop listening I was right there in the story and those last two hours I held my breath it felt so real and so much action and drama. This is my now second favorite book in the ACOTAR series and I thought Nesta would never redeem herself but she did. Absolutely loved it!

Fantastic audio experience!

One of the best stories and audiobooks I’ve ever read! The graphic version was sooo good and worth the extra cost. I recommend this to all!

Couldn’t stop listening

I did what some may consider sacrilege. I started my ACOTAR journey with ACOSF. It was akin to reading the last page of a book to make sure you liked it. I stopped halfway through and started from the beginning, eventually coming back to what is my favorite book of the series.

This book is spectacular. There is so much character development and growth, so much pain and raw emotion from Nesta, I caught myself feeling emotional during many scenes. There is also a heavy dose of SPICE that will keep you on your toes. Its perfection.

The narrators are amazing. Nesta and Cassian couldn’t have been performed by anyone else, it had to be these two. The support characters were also wonderfully played, and the sound effects and music were a great added touch. This is why I love Graphic Audio—they bring my favorite books to life.

If you’re an ACOTAR fan, you won’t regret diving back in headfirst with these dramatized readings. Do it. I dare you.

Unbelievable

I loved the whole series. Listened every chance I got. Sad that it ended. Wish there was more to the story.

Loved them all

Outstanding performance by all the narrators!

As for the story:

There are thousands of reviews for this book, more eloquent and articulate than I could ever write, but Nesta's story compelled me to share my thoughts.

At the start of the series, I, like many others, disliked her. However, the words SJM wrote for her took my breath away.

It takes so much to forgive ourselves for the mistakes we've made. We are truly our own harshest critics. Self-reflection and forgiveness are not for the faint of heart. The trauma she endured and was able to move past shows her true strength more than any power she possesses.

Cassian's love for her, and her friendship with Emerie and Gwyn, were so beautiful.

Bravo to all involved ♡

I think the title says it all. Yet again Sarah has managed to make me crave the next book even with how fulfilled this books ending leaves you. But there's so many questions to yet be answered. I can't wait for the next 3!!!

It's SJM what did you expect? ☆☆☆☆☆
