Publisher's summary

Christmas. Ghosts. Murder.

It's nearly Christmas in Oxford, and Detective Inspector Bridget Hart is enjoying a rare day off at Oxford's Christmas Market. A ghost tour seems like a fun way to round off the day. Until, that is, a brutal murder brings the evening to a tragic close.

Torn between work and family commitments over the festive season, Bridget soon discovers that the ghost of Christmas past is reaching out to the present with fatal consequences.

Not everyone believes in the season of goodwill to all men, and with a real-life flesh-and-blood killer at large in Oxford, Bridget races to solve the case in time to prevent yet more murders.

Bridget Hart’s family is here!

Bridget has her hands full with a theatre director, a television star, a backstage prop man and her daughter and parents. Add in her love life and her work family and she has her hands full! Another great story from the Morris’s!

Too much soap opera - main character not very likable.

Too much extra thrown in about characters lives. Main character is not likable. Very pedantic story line.

Seriously

This woman needs to get a grip. Her 15 yr old is out drinking and lying about who she’s with and where she’s at? And all she cares about is her job? Gimme a break. The whole idea of a teenager making their own decisions and expecting to have the ability to do whatever they want when they want is beyond ridiculous. A real parent would be all over that shutting it down. Fact is BH can’t because she’s never home. Someone else raises her child because she cares more about her job than her child and family and relationship. Eye roll.
