Publisher's summary

Fame is a tricky business, as Althea Rose learns firsthand when the spotlight-seekers sweep into Tequila Key after rumors of a psychic reality show hit the headlines. Even more annoying are the tabloid photographers who insist on taking photos of Althea in the most unflattering positions - like bending over to take off her wet suit. Who wants their bum plastered across the cover of a magazine?

Understandably miffed, Althea grows even more frustrated when she learns a famous TV producer wants to sign her and Miss Elva on to co-star in the reality show. To make matters worse, a competing psychic with an over-inflated ego has arrived in town to sniff out his chance for the spotlight. He and his ruthless assistant make Althea’s life hell as they vie for the coveted lead role in the show.

Althea tries to ignore the bedlam and carry on with her life, but to her surprise, she finds herself smack dab in the middle of a murder, again. And this time, all fingers are pointed at her.

Narrator

I really don’t like the voice of this narrator. She makes everyone sound old. I would prefer the narrator from the last book.

Ughh

Love Althea! Hate the narrative switch - the characters don’t sound the same which throws me off

5th of Tequila

The story was great; I'm a big fan of Trisha O'Malley. However, I didn't care for the narrator at all, especially when it came to the male voices.

The narrator killed it for me

I should’ve waited a few months after listening to the fourth book before listening to this one. I love the characters, the storyline although impossible make for fun fiction. This narrator however, made me want to hurry up and finish the book. She made all the characters sound extremely whiny and it was really irritating listening to her. I want to get number six, but I saw that it’s the same narrator, so I’m really struggling with making that purchase.

The terrible narration

I want my credit back, can’t even listen to this narrator… the previous one was much better
