Amazing

I have read/listen to Tricia Tequila series, and siren series. I hadn’t listen to the Mystic Cove as wasn’t sure I could related to the Irish theme. What was I thinking I love Tricia writing and for me being a female Veteran with PTSD. Her writing gets me out of my head, I laugh, I am absorb by the stories and most of all gives me so much hope..so back to my binge listening to this wonderful series. If you like Tricia other series don’t miss this if you haven’t read anything by Tricia you are missing out on some amazing stories about strong women, who can be what they are and still be loved, wanted and most importantly accepted for who they are…don’t miss out on this fun and hope. Read anything by Tricia OMalley

Really wanted to like this story

I love the Nora Robert's books set in Ireland and really wanted to love this series too. Purchased the first 2 books in great anticipation. BUT I have a problem reading about people doing really dumb things on purpose. A "Scientist", who in her profession dives, is warned about a cove with dangerous undertow currents by multiple locals. One night she gets drunk, visits the cove and almost drowns. The very next morning she decides it would be a perfect time to go back and do it again. Without telling anyone where she is going, without having a diving partner, without any safety gear and without following any standard diving safety protocols. When she is swept out to sea and is rescued by a fisherman (the one who saved her the night before) she starts screaming at him for saving her. Why am I reading this book?

Wanted more!

This was cute, but def needed more relationship development! Was a bit too insta-lovey and I really wanted more plot around the magic elements, but overall an enjoyable and low-angst read.

Narration lacking

This being the 1st of the series the plot moved through the foundational details quickly. Requires the reader to trust a lot. The narrator was not impressive. I will not be buying the rest of the series.

Irish magic

The main character seemed to be too much of a twit at times for supposedly being a brilliant post grad student working on her Master's thesis in marine biology. Stubborn, flippant and at first, not very respectful of her grandmother, she comes of as immature. At 28 y/o she seemed more like a high schol girl in attitude. This bugged me and kept me from fully enjoying the story. But that said, it was an engaging story full of mystic Irish lore which I happen to enjoy reading about.

A Magical Love Story

Loved the magic & romance; love these Irish stories and the narrator captures the characters so well that makes them come to life.

Okay Romance novel with Distracting Performance

Surprised at all the very high reviews. This was okay overall. The story had some serious continuity issues and would repeat details unnecessarily. Narrator would have been perfectly fine if it weren't for her terrible attempts at imitating an old woman's voice or male voices. Overall meh.

Love Irish Love ❤️🍀❤️

I didn't know if I'd like this or not, but being of Irish decent with a love of the fantasy & romance genre, I knew I had to give it a try! I'm happy to say I was more than pleasantly surprised with it! The author created a beautiful storyline with great detail to Ireland's beauty that I often wished I could draw or paint what I imagined! To say I would die to have drawings of the scenery the author wrote is an understatement!! I really liked the narrator, too! She did a great job conveying the protagonist's emotions & mindset throughout the book!! Basically, I fell in love with this book slowly, then all at once!!! Needless-to-say, I will DEFINITELY be reading/listening to all the books in this series!!!

TO GRACE O'MALLEY, "MY BLOOD, DAUGHTER OF MY DAUGHTERS" I LOVE THEE!!! ❤️🍀❤️
