About this listen

I believe in soul mates. Why? Because I have one and her name is Lily Madison.

I've loved Lily my whole life; she's all I've ever known. I didn't realize how deeply she was ingrained into the fabric of my soul until I felt her absence.

Sometimes in life, once choices are made and paths are altered, it is often impossible to go back.

I know this because I stand here with a two-carat engagement ring in my hand, waiting to ask someone to be my wife. I'm ready to love and cherish her 'til death do us part. But, there's just one problem.

She isn't Lily.

Will the choices that have been made change our path forever or can fate find its way?

Kinda disappointed with this one....

Jax made me hate him and not even the HE redeemed him. How do u keep breaking up with someone u supposedly love and break up right after having sex with that person u so called love?? Lily was totally blinded by love, basically a doormat for Jax, whenever he needed her and/or needed sex she came running. Sorry that is no man....he was more like a douchebag the way he treated Lily. And the heroine wasnt any better, letting herself be a doormat and keep running back to someone who kept breaking her heart over and over. Guess they deserved each other...dumb and dumber.

Beautiful story..be prepared for lots of feelings

After reading the reviews of book 2, I was hesitant to throw it on my mp3 player, I am so glad that I did. While not a happy go lucky story, this book takes you through many of real life situations.

I loved having the POV of Jax in the beginning of the book. I didn't always agree with this choices, but that was the whole point I think. Both books show us how the choices we make impact all of our life and the lives of those we love. Whether right or wrong, we won't know until they are made.

Stella, not the saint she is portrayed throughout the book was a little on the villainous side. She knew she wasn't loved, but selfishly took that part of Jax and his feeling of responsibility and love. This really bothered me since it really was not discussed. It was how beautiful and nice she was. He did give her a gift that was priceless.

So happy it ended the way it did. The epilogue shows the culmination of love and happiness. Ava is just too cute. Loved this series.

A Forever Ending

I was a little nervous going into this second book. Lily and Jax's story was so twisted throughout book one, I wasn't sure what to expect. But this finale did a good job of showing that while not easy, thier love is forever. Sweet HEA portrayed well by narrators.

A Forever Kind of Love (NOT!!!!!!)

A Forever Kind of Love: Choices Series Book 2
: Ellie Wade

The title of this book is a total lie. Jax had no clue of forever and I doubt he knew anything of love. He was a spineless, hypocritical, and womanizing (even if it was one woman , namely Lily) character that I despised. Lily let herself be a doormat and kept coming back for more.

Second chances or was it third or fourth chances were WAY TOO MANY!

If the author was trying to pull feelings from the listener she accomplished it but they were probably not the ones you might expect.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Chris Abell and Caitlin Kelly.

Great ending

I was holding out for that HEA and I'm so glad I did because it was great. Such a realistic and not dramatized love story. I just had to know how things ended up in the mess they were and this book answered those questions perfectly.

Caitlin is the better of the 2 narrators and Chris had a female voice that wasn't my favorite but that is being picky because they both did a great job.

a different kind of love story

hmmm... I'm not sure exactly how I feel about this book. Narration was good though. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

What's Meant To Be

I love the way Ellie Wade writes, which made this book easy to listen to. I didn't love the whole premise of this book, but it was narrated perfectly. I was hoping this book would be more redeeming, at least for Jax... but it really wasn't. He's kind of an idiot.. but I also get why he made the choices that seemed to bother so many people. I had to remind myself a few times that the main characters were so young through both of these books. This one was a lot less about Lily, his "soulmate," than I thought it would be.. but it makes sense. I still wish she wasn't so desperate for a guy who repeatedly hurts her, but what's meant to be will find its way.

A great ending to an epic love story

To be perfectly honest I was a little nervous going into this second half of Lily and Jax's story. After listening to the first one, I read some pretty negative reviews that had me unsure about what I would think of this one. Well I should have never doubted Ellie for a single second. I completely disagree with all of the reviewers. Lily and Jax's love is beautiful it is forever but it has definitely not been easy!!!! I shed quite a few tears during the book and was super happy with how everything ended up. Great job Ellie!!!

A Round About Love Story

This love story was long and twisted. Jax begins the story saying how he was born to love Lily but was asking another woman to marry him. I am not so sure about Stella and how she got Jax to do what he did. But Jax was a grown man and still allowing his dad to beat him down so I guess Stella's tactics were bound to work. Lily was just a consistent person who knew what she wanted and finally got it. The story put me in mind of some of Nicholas Sparks books. This one just happened to have a happy ending. It was a good read and the narration was excellent although I got a little sleepy on parts of it. Overall I enjoyed the book. I did not read book 1 before listening to this one. If time permits I may go back and buy book 1. I got this book from audiobook boom.
