About this listen

An Amazon Top 30 Best Seller

Dear Taron,

I should have told you this a long time ago....

Dear Taron,

Is there a time limit on forgiveness?

If there is, I haven’t reached it....

Dear Taron,

I still love you....

A letter never sent.

Heck, I never even finished it....

Taron Rhodes was my brother’s best friend.

He was sexy as sin.

But he was more than that....

He was ponytail-pulling, ice-down-your-shirt teasing, throw-you-in-the-lake screaming....

Strong, tanned arms and blue-green eyes over a heart-stopping, naughty grin....

Did I mention his tight end?

I gave him my first real kiss, my heart, my everything.

I said I’d wait for him....

I’m still waiting, because Taron Rhodes is still the man of my dreams,

And I have a secret that has his blue-green eyes.

Noel LaGrange stole my heart when she was only 18 - pushing me off a flatbed and calling me a city slicker.

Her brother Sawyer would kick my ass if he knew how many times we made out that summer, how close we got.

Everything changed when Sawyer and I joined the military.

We were honorably discharged, but I didn’t go to her.

Instead, I went back to the city...where no amount of money, no amount of pills can heal this wound.

Only her whiskey eyes and dark hair, her slim arms and her sweet scent, give me hope.

I broke her heart just as surely as I broke mine, but I’m going back to make it right.

If she’s still waiting....

(Wait for Me is a stand-alone second-chance military romance with a guaranteed HEA. No cheating. No cliff-hangers.)

Sweet story..

I liked this book. It didn't include a lot of sex, drama or angst but it was well written and a really sweet story that held my interest. I will definitely look for more books by Tia Louise. I thought the narration was superb which always adds to the enjoyment of the book. Emma Wilder is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators and although I haven't heard much narration by Patrick Zeller, I thought he was PERFECT for Taron.

Phenomenal story!

I've read this book many times and it is still like the first time. I go through all the same emotions and fall in love with Taron, Noel, Dove, and family all over again. Now, I got to experience in audio and it didn't disappoint. Patrick Zeller and Emma Wilder add a new level to the storytelling with their smooth drawls and flawless performances.

Noel is strong and sweet trying to show her brother, Sawyer, she can run their orchard and make her own beauty products while he is shipped out in the Marines. Taron is Sawyer's Marine buddy and is helping him during the peach harvest before they head out on an 18 month mission out of the country. You see Noel and Taron building their bond throughout the first part of the book while they work together at the orchard.

While Taron and Sawyer are deployed, you still see the connection and love happening between Taron and Noel. Unfortunately, they go through a traumatic experience on the mission and everything changes. Taron is suffering and you can feel the heartbreak as he pushes Noel away. As you read the words, you feel her agony and sadness flowing off the pages - until she finds out she is pregnant.

It jumps ahead a little and Dove (her daughter) is sunshine and light. She is adorable and you can't help falling in love with her.

Wait for Me takes you on a journey of emotions but you are rooting for the main couple the entire book and rooting for Taron to overcome his demons and addiction after his traumatic experience. It pulls on the heartstrings as you know this experience is happening to others post-deployment as well. A fabulous read with dynamic characters! While I enjoy all of Tia Louise's books, this is my favorite.

Hooked me in early and I couldn’t stop until I finished it.

I just finished Wait For Me and I absolutely LOVED it. It hooked me in early and I swooned, fretted, cheered, cried ...all the feels. This is my first Tia Louise book. I’m not great at writing reviews so just trust me me and read and/or listen to this book. Narrators Emma Wilder and Patrick Zeller did a fabulous job bringing all the characters and this book to life.

sweet brother’s best friend/ second chance romance!

Such a sweet brother’s best friend/ second chance romance!! It had it’s heartbreaking as well as it heartwarming moments! And it definitely had it’s sexy moments! The chemistry between Noel and Taron was intense!! Such a great read! Loved how easy they fell in the first half but absolutely loved the slow burn of the second half!! Taron is definitely my new hero!! He’ll make you swoon with how he is with a certain someone!! Definitely read it to find out!! You won’t be disappointed!
I absolutely loved the narrators! I’ve listened to Emma Wilder but Patrick Zeller was new to me! He has such a sexy voice! They did great together!

OMG! This book brought back memories

As I was listening to this book, I couldn’t believe how much reflection and memories it brought back of my life. My former husband was in the military, we were married at 19, and although our marriage didn’t end happily ever after, It really resembled my life with my ex. Painful memories were brought back, BUT.... so were all the GREAT memories we had created as well. Those are the memories I will take with me to my grave. Loved this book, loved the happily ever after. Both Patrick Zeller and Emma Wilder really brought the characters of Tarron and Noel to life for me. It’s always funny when they try to create character’s of the opposite sex. Loved this story!

❤️❤️❤️

So, if you’ve read, or listened, to Boss of Me (which I have & loved), you’ll know exactly who this book is about. If you haven’t, you’re still good, it’s a stand alone, but why haven’t you? You’ll love it. Anywho, this is about Taron Rhodes. You get to see what his story is before he started his life in the military (and his life changed). He decided to spend the couple of weeks at Sawyer’s peach orchard, helping out with the harvest before they both deploy, when the love of his life quite literally fell into his arms. Noel LaGrange is Sawyers little sister, but quite a hard working amazing beauty. She’s family oriented, she’s dream driven, and just like that she steals his heart. I’m going to stop here because you need to experience the rest. There are heart warming & heart breaking moments in here. There’s second chances, hard work, and an absolutely adorable 6 year old little girl named Dove who will melt your heart!! I wanna tell you everything, but I don’t want to ruin it for you. This is the first time I listened to Patrick Zeller narrate, but it didn’t take me long to get caught up in him. I dug it lol. And Emma Wilder is a good Noel. You’ll love this!!!
