About this listen
A master violinist trained in Vienna, Rebekah Carrington manages to wheedle her way into an audition with the maestro at the newly formed Nashville Philharmonic. But women are "far too fragile and frail" for the rigors of an orchestra, and Rebekah's hopes are swiftly dashed. Because the conductor - determined to leave his mark on the world of classical music - bows to public opinion. To make matters worse, Adelicia Acklen Cheatham, mistress of Belmont Mansion and Rebekah's new employer, agrees with him.
Nationally acclaimed conductor Nathaniel Tate Whitcomb is Nashville's new orchestra leader. And despite a reluctant muse - and a strange buzzing and recurring pain in his head - he must finish composing his symphony before the grand opening of the city's new opera hall. Far more pressing, he must finish it for the one who first inspired his love of music - his father, who is dying. But Tate's ailment worsens. He knows Rebekah can help him finish his symphony. But how do you win back a woman's trust when you've robbed her of her dream?

Excellent!
Excellent storyline, reading and character development. I wish her books would never end they are so good. This one especially so! I really liked how she wove characters from other books into this story as well. Well done. Looking forward to more.

Another Excellent Story
I am sorry to know that the book “A Note Yet Unsung” is the last book in the Belmont series from Tamera Alexander’s pen 🖊. I have thoroughly enjoyed each book and I have learned so much while reading 📖 the stories within each book 📕. All of Tamera Alexander’s books are Excellent!! I have read all of Tamera Alexander’s books except one and I highly recommend them. With each book I am disappointed when the story ends. I want them to continue on.

A Note Yet Unsung
This was brilliant! A masterpiece in writing that captures your heart. I very much enjoy Tamera’s stories and this one is no exception! Out of the three Belmont series books, this by far my favorite. I felt as if I was part of the family and was crying and laughing with them. I played flute in an orchestra in high school so maybe I was more partial because of it but either way it was very moving. I don’t normally read books more than once but this one I could. Linda Stephens was excellent!
