Read this

I just recently discovered Jewel E. Ann books. This was by far not my first one though. I almost did not listen to this as a review talked about how immature the main character. I will say that this is true in the beginning and even to some sense throughout the entire book. However, there is growth in it. This book made me cry several times...but in the best way. You won't regret it...listen to it.

Absolutely adored

reread via audiobook- again I am left with tears in my eyes of the beauty of this story. So much heartbreak and angst, but I was completely put back together and then some. The narrators were great even if I didn’t feel like the male narrators voice didn’t match the character lol still amazing!

Bodhi & Henna forever 😭I absolutely loved this!!!!! It’s a mix between Colleen Hoovers Slammed and Jojo Moses’ Me Before You.

I’m still crying as I write this. I loved every single second of this. Henna was so lost and unsure of who she was when we first met her but by the end she’s no longer the shell of herself. Bodhi blames and punishes himself for his past, and only allows himself small moments of happiness. The character growth in both Bodhi and Henna was beautiful. The narrators did an amazing job at adding the emotion that was being portrayed in the story. Can’t recommend this enough 🥹🫶🏻

A love story that will make you sob!

Loved the story and narration. The story at first is a little unbelievable at how quickly they fall in love, but my husband and I knew we would marry each other within 2 weeks and we were only 17 at the time, so it does happen!

The story has a great view of relationships with family members. I loved all the characters in the story. You will feel for all of them.

I hope lots of people will take a chance in reading/listening to this book. I loved it so much!!!

Even though my chest was aching most of the time. A beautiful story of pain, guilt, love and forgiveness.

As excellent as the book, if not more, so!

I read and then reread this book a number of years ago. It is tragic, haunting, sweet and over the top with love and angst. However, as in usual Jewel E. Ann fashion this book just reaches out and grabs you by the heart.

Oh, the emotions!!

Although the female narrator’s reading seemed a little choppy sometimes instead of flowing, I felt like her voice fit Henna. This story was an emotional roller coaster for the characters and ME and I loved it. I couldn’t stop listening and was hard to take breaks.

Loved it!

Amazing story that gives you a rollercoaster ride with all the feels! Having "read" this as an audio book, things toward the end were very powerful and you could hear the emotion in the narration. I had to set it aside once toward the end and come back because I was emotional. Jewel E. Ann never disappoints and this book was no exception!
