Publisher's summary

Psychologist Grace Callahan has no idea she has a secret - one worth killing for. But when she finds out one of her clients has been murdered, she quickly realizes the computer security specialist wasn't simply suffering from paranoia.

Detective Nate Quinn has just been cleared for active duty after a bombing killed 18 people, including his partner, and left him dealing with PTSD. His first case back on the job involves the murder of Stephen Shaw, and his only lead turns out to be an old friend, Grace Callahan - and her life is in grave danger. Someone believes Shaw gave his psychologist information before he died. Information for which they are willing to kill.

With her signature pulse-pounding suspense, Lisa Harris takes listeners deep into the heart of fear in this race against the clock.

Another Great Book!

Absolutely loved it! All the elements where there, suspense, mystery, and a little romance. I enjoy this author so much because there is no unnecessary bad language.

The narrator was very good at defining characters and had a pleasant pace to her reading.

Looking for to the next Lisa Harris book.

First time read

First time to read Lisa Harris! Story line was good but performance was so slow and bland I about gave up on book. When they are fighting for their lives the tempo remains the same .

Come on get excited.... volume, tone and rate . Also writing was a little choppy!

The story was pretty good

The story line was pretty good. It had some parts where it was slow, but other than that a good read or should I say a good listen! The narrator was a little slow with her reading at times and would take long pauses. I ended up turning the speed up which helped a little. Overall good book !

Good story but the performance was just okay.

The narrator did fine and was pleasant to listen to. What I found most frustrating (and why I gave the performance two stars) is that there is too much of a pause between almost every sentence. It didn't have a nice flow. I let my husband listen to a bit of it just to see if I was off base in my thinking, but he agreed with me. So, with a little more editing I think this could have been a much better recording. The story itself was good and the narrator's voice was fine but the recording was not edited well which made my listening experience not as good as it could have been.
