About this listen

Every parent's nightmare comes true for Debra Patterson, whose children disappear from the entrance to a Houston mall when she dashes into the pouring rain to get their car.

When Debra learns that her husband is also missing, apparently having taken the children with him, she feels her whole world is collapsing. Suddenly out from under her husband's iron fist, but very much alone, she must find new strength...and the path that will bring her children back to her arms.

Author DiAnn Mills's chilling story follows Debra's downward spiral and ultimate reliance on God for support.

FULL OF GODS LOVE

I absolutely could not put this book down. It flows on and does not bog down. I caught myself praying for her even though it's a book .I know that was silly but I absolutely loved it. Great book and filled with GODS Love💓💓💓💓

Good story, dragged in spots

This is the first book I’ve read by DiAnn Mills. I enjoyed the book, but it dragged in places. Part of that may have been the narration, which is somewhat stilted. There are awkward pauses in a lot of the sentences. I liked that there was no clue until close to the end, but I think it could have been told in a few less chapters without missing the point of the novel.

God's perfect timing

I almost gave up on this book, but I'm so glad I hung in there. The subject matter of losing people you love, facing that fear, and ultimately relying on God speaks of my own life right now. It hit so close to home I almost couldn't bear it. However, I couldn't be more glad now that I've finished the book and feel encouraged in my faith to lean not on my own understanding. I appreciate beyond words the value of a great fiction writer who ties faith and romance and suspense all together in one amazing novel!

Good story! I enjoyed listening to this story.

A different angle of writing for Diann, but I enjoyed it as well. Good Christian book to listen too.

Really great book!

This would be a great movie! I loved how Debra developed as a woman of God and learned to lean on him. I couldn’t imagine what she went through touched my heart greatly!

Footsteps

There was so much to enjoy in this novel. There was suspense and spirituality. Debra’s journey through this ordeal was uplifting. The narrator was outstanding. I pray Mrs. Mills books continue to be released on audio. Also, I always look forward to her books and re listen to them.

Fair

Story is written rather amateurish. There are plot holes. The narrator sounds like a GPS voice. Not worth the money.
