The story in and of itself was an amazing take on the Native American spirits, gods, and monsters that roamed the prairies, forrests, and mountains. The ending surprised me.

This is more than just a Deadwood meets Lord of the Rings pitch but a marvelous blend of myths from Wild Western lore, to Native American mysticism, to High Fantasy,
Plenty of strong characterizations utterly devoid of tired old cliches, this was a fun read that I hope is the first of a new series.

really liked this book, not really horror, more supernatural thriller. the narrator was really good and made the story more interesting, the book itself was great, it was really interesting and flowed really well. I couldn't stop listening, really kept my interest. I highly recommend it, but beware you won't be able to put it down

The was a good wedtern story. The character interactions, mystcism and conflicts were entertaining. I especially liked the wing theif character, he was just as confused as a person would be in his situation, but had the will to push on.
