About this listen
The winds blew across South Padre, digging, pushing mountains of sand. Uncovering murder.
Sheriff Dave Trask is on his first vacation in years, returning to South Padre Island, his first visit since a spring break trip twenty-five years ago. This time Trask is with his girlfriend, medical examiner Linda James, and just as Trask is beginning to relax, the police on South Padre interrupt their trip. A body has been found, a woman’s skeleton, and the police need the help of James to look at the body for any clue as to who it may be.
But Trask does not need to see the body. He is certain he knows who the dead woman is – and who killed her.
Dave recalls the night of the girl's disappearance and suspects his former college roommate, now a wealthy businessman and philanthropist, was involved in the girl's death. Dave enlists the help of his twin brother Don, Special Agent for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), who agrees to conduct a discreet investigation, unaware of the horrors it will reveal and the events it will trigger.
And then there is the Daytona Beach drug lord seeking revenge for the murder of his son...
"I was HOOKED after the first chapter. I love a good mystery. I could not stop until I read the whole book..."
Readers of Sanford, Hoag, Child, Patterson and alike will enjoy this fast-paced mystery. Be sure to check out the rest of the books in this great series.

A tangled Trask Brothers thriller you will want to read in one sitting. He knew. There was only a scrap of red material, but he knew. Don Trask, Lead Agent for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, had no doubt what it was. For five years he had locked away the haunting memories associated with his most difficult case, the unsolved disappearance of a small girl. But now those memories had burst from their vault, and the nightmares that came with them were back. And then there was another, a young boy, and Trask knew who had done it. It was supposed to be easy...it turned out to be murder. In the thrilling start to the Trask Brothers Murder Mystery Series, identical twin brothers Dave and Don hunt a silent killer terrorizing anglers in the great north woods. "Spellbinding! I could not put it down. It will keep you on the edge all the way to the end." Story
There was something heavy in the bag. SOMETHING DEAD. There was no escaping the heat and humidity. Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Agent Danny Carlisle sat in her car, the air conditioner running. It was not the Florida-like weather on this Minnesota morning that was keeping her in her car. It was not the piles of garbage that lined the streets, remnants of a just-ended strike, although the odor that hung in the air was part of it. What made Danny hesitate was a specific bag of garbage to her right, inside a tent, the contents of which was about to ruin her day. But what Danny ...

Big money. Sunken treasure. Drugs. And a trail of bodies, very clean bodies. The Trask brothers have their hands full. It was the chance of a lifetime for the band, touring with Prince, and a friend of a friend had a decked out tour bus they could use. Things couldn't be better - except for the body in the bus. A very clean body. Don Trask, Lead Agent for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, finds it odd that someone would go to the trouble to bleach a body. It was strange. And things were about to become even more strange when additional bodies in Minneapolis and along the north ...
