A Woman After God's Own Heat, a true delight.

Even though I had read "A Woman After God's Own Heart" many years ago, I delighted in listening to this soft mellow voice teach such important principles necessary for a Christian woman.

Essential reading for wives and moms

I do not read a lot of Christian lifestyle books, but this one I devoured. Elizabeth focuses on the most important things, how to prioritize, and ideas of how to become our very best given our responsibilities.

Godly wisdom

Excellent advice. Will likely listen again in the future. This is the first audio book that I recall that I ever made it to the end of.

easy read

Good teaching book for the married. Could use for singles wanting or approaching marriage. Nice read. Would be great for a small group of young wives and mothers, or women struggling with marriage. Explains the why should I question.

Great advice for an aspiring woman of God

The book opening started off a little bit questionable as to the author's focus and tone of the book, but that quickly passed. The book turned out to be a wise guide to becoming a woman after God's own heart, meaning a woman who strives to be godly and follow our Lord obediently. The author used scripture to back up her claims of how to be a godly woman and she didn't disappoint. I'll admit it won't be easy to follow her plan, but if you are a child of God, then the Holy Spirit will convict and lead you to be such a godly woman as this. I especially liked the sections on being a wife, mother, and homemaker. Although I am not yet all 3, I strive to be a godly woman in all of these areas and more.
