More focus on the relationships

The storyline kind of take a backburner in this book.. it’s not focused on the relationships which I am 100% okay with. I love Accacia and her men. They each bring something different and now that we have the relationships settled, we can focus on the curse and what they can do to save their worlds. I am excited for the next book!

I still don’t love the narrator but it doesn’t take away too much from the story.

Great story

Picking up where the first book left off we hear how Ezeria has his heart healed throughout the fear, regret, hope and love wrapped up in the storyline.
The narrator does a great job narrating and helped bring the story into a different light. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great Read

Accacia's Blood was another good read by Be a Paige. This is book two in Accacia's trilogy that is part of the sisters of Hex series. Accacia has saved Rhain and now is looking for her missing friend Clover. Accacia and her vampire knights go to a forbidden forest in hopes of finding Clover. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more about Accacia and her men.

Book Two

This is the continuation of Sisters of Hex series. This installment definitely takes you on an emotional roller coaster! If you enjoy vampire stories then you should check out this series. The stories (so far) have been well written with characters developing nicely. The narration is done well. Megan Green's voice took a bit to get used to but now I cannot really hear anyone else being these characters. She keeps the voices the same and does give them their own emotions. However, she still needs work on doing the male voices. Overall, an entertaining listen worth your time but do make sure to listen to the first book before this one and make sure you listen to the sample, what you hear is what you get, so make sure it's a fit for you.

I want more

It’s a good thing I have the next and last book in this trilogy to start on next. I really enjoyed this story and the whirlwind of emotions it will make you feel. Megan Green does a great job with the voices in this narration. Books like this are the reason I listen to audiobooks

Adventure

Note that this is part of a trilogy and this story had more romance in it then the first in this series. Which I’m very happy with.

I feel that it’s hard to say much without giving away spoilers. What I can say is this:

* Good storyline
* The characters are growing on me, I feel like I know them better after this book
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* The love scenes is okay but can still have more intensity added to make them more steamy
* It’s a fairy tale for grown ups 😬

Narrator:
I’m sad to say I don’t like the voice particularly but at the same time in some weird way it matches the story ...... I think 🤔
Pronunciation is clear and she reads with feelings. The biggest draw back is that it should have been dual or duet reading because this narrator for me just isn’t mastering the male voices.

Conclusion: I listen even if I’m not totally happy with the narrator so it’s good enough.
