This was helpful for me as I begin my education on Vedanta. I’d been introduced to non-duality by other sources but wanted a deeper understanding of the origin of this approach to spiritual life. I could hear the author’s slight disdain for how modern day practitioners have altered the more pure forms of this tradition, and found that interesting, but not sure if the argument against them was that compelling. I would have liked for a deeper dive into some of the more burning questions around non-duality, such as the argument against free will and the case against Neo-Vedanta, but that being said, I’m more informed now than when I began this audiobook and my interest in non-duality and Vedanta continues to grow.

A Nice Summary For Beginners
