The narrators are a bit wooden and story kind of drags on for a long time, going nowhere but just sort of wallowing in misery. And then... just ew. There is simply no call for this kind of creepiness. I need one million showers and might never feel clean again.

The “final twist” is... gross. The narrators are a little stale. But none of it matters because the ending is icky.

Knew there would be a twist but there was no way I could have predicted it. I didn’t find the story slow at all the author did fully establish that Diana had issues with her memory, prescribed drugs and drinking so maybe the previous reviewer found that those facts were repeated a few times but that didn’t bother me. The only reason I gave the book 4 stars was because I found then twist to be a little far fetched.
Now being an audio book I’ll also talk about the readers. I found all of them to be excellent. I liked the fact that one voice didn’t do all 5 of the main characters. I found them all convincing and easy to follow.
