About this listen

It looks like a Merry Christmas is around the corner in Whiskey Springs. Fallon Foster’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Nolan, has moved to Amsterdam. Fallon is settling into her life with Riley Main and their son, Owen. Andi Maguire has finally found love with Billie Steele. And the town is celebrating the birth of its newest resident, a little girl named Hope. The celebratory mood is cut short when Billie delivers the news that Olivia is dead.

Olivia’s death sends shock waves through the small town. And it won’t be the last piece of unexpected news. Riley attempts to help Fallon navigate her grief. Fallon’s search for answers to explain Olivia’s life and her death bring her face-to-face with her brother, Dean. Andi receives surprising news from her youngest son. Owen struggles to share the attention of the adults in his life. Change is a reminder that pieces of the past often creep into the present. A few confessions over margaritas, a lot of laughter, and an extra dose of love lead the way forward for the colorful cast of characters that call Whiskey Springs home in the fourth installment of JA Armstrong’s Open Tab series.

THE SERIES YOU NEVER WANT TO END!

The women of Whiskey Springs sure know how to get through even the toughest of situations, all while being true to themselves and others. The laughter and witt are never in short supply and you feel like you're right at home with each character no matter the situation. I could read about these women and their shenanigans and never tire.

Loved it

There are books that become a whole series and when I see the sequels I don’t hesitate, in most cases it is ok in this case it is excellent.
I loved this book, I am familiar with the characters which makes it easier to get into. And narration is excellent.

Enjoyable series si far...

I've enjoyed this series so far, but the ending to this one seems rather abrupt for me. I do hope there will be another sequel that with further explain things. Yes I want more from this author! She is capable of it. The characters are engaging and I'm hopeful they will continue on.

I also enjoyed the narrator. Jill did a great job, just enough variance in the character voices to know who was talking.

Family

Family is the most important feeling in a person’s life. For so many reasons and the love that comes with having a family is so much more than life it self.
A.J. And the voices in this story are what brought it to life.
I could read about there life’s and love of family every day and still not get enough of it.

Questions, Answers, and I do-s!

I love these characters. Life is messy, but love makes it worth living. Fallon, Riley, Andi, and Billie are front and center, as is Olivia Nolan's death. So many questions, so few answers, but an entire family of love. The narration by Jill Smith is stellar!!

This series is a gem

The continuing adventures at Whiskey Springs. After Hours (Open Tab, #4) a deeper look into the family at Whiskey Springs. Love, romance, holidays, families, and mystery fills the air. I love the cast of characters J.A. Armstrong created. I was happy to know how this book ends but hoped book 5, in the series, would be on the nightstand. There are only a few series where I have been this drawn into lives, not just the MC's but all who live there. I feel warmth and care for all of them. I adore little Owen and his mom's working their way through their lives. So many stories are yet to tell. I hope the series continues. I could see myself reading book 29, and so on. Love it (Jill Smith's narration adds so much)
